Jay is on another level with is promos, emotions and crafting a story. No one gives off that pure emotion and complexity that he has and the sheer amount of story telling and soundbytes that he gives off. Considering how Hikuleo and Juice Robinson obviously don't really like each other that much in or out the ring, and Hikuleo wasn't doing much other than easy pins on Gideon Grey in do-nothing opening matches, this was an obvious choice. Jay kept it together well with his emotions and how to demonstrate his anger in his character as a wrestler, but there was a hint of salt due to how things went down. That backstage conversation was probably fucking hilarious between Jay, Gedo, Hikuleo, and Tama. 😂 That count down to the hug from Tama was low-key heartwarming because he knew it was time to reunite as family and get what he wanted out of this situation.

If done right, we may see Hikuleo dethroning Karl Anderson because The Good Brothers aren't on IMPACT anymore. If Karl retains, it's most likely he and Gallows signed with NJPW.

Gedo and Jay are concerned about the world title, so Gallows and Doc will have to handle Hikuleo alone for the most part with how Gedo books, which is the beauty of it all.

@@mrlaidback83 When I binge watch wrestling, and watch NJPW next to a raw or smackdown it is easy to notice the difference in skills between the performers. I understand that the direction is different in both organizations, but I am referring to the general level of in-ring competency between the rosters. Yes, there are some very skilled workers in WWE, but overall the general skill difference between rosters is noticeably lower than NJPW. Most of the current names being pushed in WWE really have little beyond a specific look and promo style. I guess this difference in organizational directions and goals is why most Japanese talents don't seem to "fit the WWE mold." Likewise this seems why it is rare for NJPW fans to be clamoring for a big name WWE talent to join as they would simply not be able to keep up in the ring.

A few minutes later Tama picked up the belt/title and said to HIKULEO stay there, don’t move, don’t move then have the belt/title to HIKULEO. After that Tonga said ready, ready, go then they both raised the belts/title. The crowd needs to be louder….
