Blood Trail is the most graphic VR shooter

Blood Trail. What a VR game. I didn't think VR could get more alarming than Blade and Sorcery, but boy was I wrong. This game is Brutal with a capital B. And it made for a lot of funny moments simply because the AI were so wonky. I hope it gave you at least one nose exhale, even if it was a concerned one. Timecode to skip members is 5:02. I’m glad your covering this, I bought it, love the gore but the way you hold the guns doesn’t feel right, if a game had the psychics of boneworks, and the gore of blood trail, it would be the best vr game ever

Blood trail developers put all of their effort into the gore and it paid off well in my opinion. They definitely need to expand their range of focus

I've followed the devs for a bit now and...yeah, this definitely feels like a game where the developers look up liveleak videos for research. Even Blade and Sorcery IIRC doesn't want to get too gory but these guys wanna go full balls to the wall. Not looking forward to the inveitable New York Times expose of Violence in VR or some shit.

@@Gashdal I’m sorry but that’s just a bad way to look at it. If that were the case, getting shot anywhere would be the worst place to get shot. That being said, I know someone who was actually shot in the stomach when he was serving for the US. He said it hurt pretty damn bad, but he ended up passing out thankfully. However, getting shot in the kneecap is known to be the worst place to get shot, and the most painful according to many doctors. By kneecap, I also mean behind it to be exact, behind the popliteal fossa.

I've been following this game for a while now on their discord and they've got a lot more things planned. If you think the gore is bad (good?) now, it's supposed to be even crazier in another update. They're also going to get to use a mocap setup soon, if they haven't already, so that they can add even more sad downed animation after you shoot enemies.

i shot an npc in the back of the head with the shotgun, and i have to say... what was left looked EXACTLY like the real life damage. A little lower res of course, and the detail was not as wet, but the shape of the wound and the skull deformations were on point. like... Disturbingly accurate. Right down to the eyes bulging out and down (anyone who has seen a real shotgun headshot knows what I'm talking about...) I've never got the damage to look as real as that first shot, but I gotta say that the first shot was enough... Brought back some bad memories and I had to take a break
