Also keeping the hands/buckler and sword together. More than once I've had a sword wind up cutting or thrusting between them because I got lazy.

Sometimes the best lessons are those learned during sparring.

Hey team what sword was that. The arming swords we have are tanks that looked a lot more fun to get hit with.
@bloodandiron22263 жыл бұрын
The sword I am using during this video is made by SGT blades in Alberta Canada. Garth runs it. He makes really good products and probably the best sparring safe arming swords on the market. Still need to wear a full sparring kit when using them cause they are steel. Keep in mind that it's just garth running the company. He does not have a factory or any employees other than his boy. So if he is inundated with orders it may take some time to fill yours. So be patient and you'll get a really good product

.....With such a long grip and open hilt, why not go for a thumb up grip when striking? Same wrist structure but longer reach?
@BlackwolfAnthony3 жыл бұрын
Good way to break your thumb I'd imagine.
@stephenkime59463 жыл бұрын
I assume you're referring to placing your thumb on the grip of the sword below the cross guard. The issue with this is that it removes stability from the weapon and results in a weaker cut and puts your thumb at risk of injury.

Would you consider opening a club in Lebanon 🇱🇧?

We do not have a resource in Lebanon to open a hard location but there is an online program you can join. Feel free to email us and we can discuss it
