It's preventing some cheese strats people were using to solo-siege castles. Before they would all leave their stations and chase which is when u could go thru their gates that they opened and close them out before raining hell on them with their own catapults lol

ZOH much better that i can get off my horse drop my shield and bow and just back up slowly to trickle them into a line and hack em to pieces one by one... MUCH better. glad they got rid of cheese for extra cheeze@@vincea1830
