Awesome batrep, as always! I have 22 Blooded painted but as I'm not yet experienced in KT I will restrain from playing them for now and go with the Legionary. Blooded have much potential but they really need lots of attention to keep their synergies going. All nurgle Chaos Marines is much easier. Especially with a stabilized Heavy Bolter buffed by malign influence and a Boltgun with tainted rounds both shooting twice thx to malicious volleys.

Great bat rep! My only note is that I am not sure the Blaster could have shot the Plasma, as LoS still requires visibility, which means the head of the blaster would have to see the plasma.

To be able to shoot, you need visibility and draw cover lines. The reason the fusion gunner was able to shoot the plasma gunner without getting shot in return because the fusion could draw cover lines to encompass the plasma gunner without interference from the heavy cover, in contrast the plasma gunner cannot encompass the fusion gunners base and since the fusion gunner is more than 2 in from the heavy, he cannot be shot. TLDR: The fusion gunner is concealed due to heavy cover while the plasma is not.

My play list just played this for me. Now I know a bit more about the void scarred. In TP 2 When Brads leader moved to shoot the Kurnathi, why didn’t Vic play Deadly Ambush? Also why didn’t he dash two more models with Plunderers? The ones on Vics right might have benefitted.

I like the idea of Kill Teams and skirmish games in general, but all the re-rolls in this game are so damn exhausting. It feels like these guys are fighting each other with pool noddles. Can people just not handle someone getting caped? All these umbrella command abilities don't add up to anything other than magic spells. This game felt like it lasted three times as long as old school Necromunda and it was a total slaughter on one side.

You can target two distincts enemy operatives while using pistol barrage ? I am not so sure. it says it is considered as a Shoot action, and for a Shoot action you must target one enemy operative only. If your first shot kills your target, your action is over.

”...Make a shooting attack with a fusion pistol and make a shooting attack with shuriken pistol...”, as written seems there are two different sentences. Later there is just reminder that the action is actually treated as shooting action so you are not cheating in a third attack in one activation.

It reads “make a shooting attack with x then make a shooting attack with y (in any order)” So it’s two shooting attacks, meaning you can shoot two different operatives . It later states that this is considered to be a shoot action, which stops you from doing a regular shoot action in edition.
