It probably would have worked out better if the tickets costed extracted blood and at the end of the day the Bloodfiends would feast on the collected blood, hell, even feast on blood from a Blood bank. La Manchaland's ruin was Don actually thinking Hemobars would replace their natural diet and not heighten their thirst for the real thing

If you go through the dungeon, you can see that the Bloodfiends charged you 20% of your total blood for the fees to go to all the attractions in the park (All-day Pass), or pay some blood when you visit one attraction (Standard). The problem is not about the blood, it's about THE FLOW of the blood. It's a psychological problem akin to addiction so it is very hard to deal with.
