I just started this game yesterday and I'm enjoying it. Your video helped me remember the fundamentals of playing the game (these kind of games) with an eye to maximizing performance in events... which in my "New! Shiny!" enthusiasm I wasn't even considering. Duh... but still, an important duh, so I am grateful. Thanks for the content, it will help me a lot.

The 599 pack has the best Intimacy Value outright no question. However for overall value the 1999 and 2999 packs have a better overall value if you calculate the cost of all the items, but I understand the point as your trying to play more efficiently and a lot of times its easier to use say the 599 pack two or three plus times than try an save up an maybe miss out on the more expensive packs.

​@@WingedEspeon No it isn't the cost of the items available from the General store helps prove my point. The Vigour potions an courting bouquets gem value makes the 1999 an 2999 intimacy packs have more overall Gem value then the 599 pack. Vigour potions are 100 gems each and the bouquets are 500 each so for the 2999 pack thats 2.5k gems value. Which if you compare to the 599 pack buying five of them so x5 so 2995 gems in comparison you do get a extra 50 of each of the intimacy items which is by chance what a single 599 pack contains an since you can't exactly compare it to a store price (except the earrings which no one would buy from the general store anyways) its arguably a 599 value + 4 gems saved would be 603 gems vs 2.5k gems = 1,897 more gem value from the 2999 intimacy pack. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this I don't think I am but I could've made a mistake honestly. Also even if you wanted to balance out the intimacy 1,897 gem value minus a 599 pack still puts u at 1,298 extra gem value. Also people could say Vigour potions aren't useful but even just the 2 courting bouquets minus the cost of a single 599 pack still puts u at extra gem value of +397 gems if you just compare intimacy value an the bouquets.

​@@Magnus-hf7ft Your argument is not reasonable. You are saying "I will value vigor potions and roses at full shop value, but only value intimacy items at value pack prices." "No one would buy earrings" isn't valid because no one would buy roses/vigor potion either. If you use shop prices for everything 599 pack win. If you use shop prices for earrings/rings as a price guide for intimacy items 599 packs win by a larger margin. If you look at the utility of the items you are buying it becomes more subjective but imo 599 packs win by an even larger margin.

@@WingedEspeon Its hard to value the intimacy packs/items in any other way then their value pack price. not to mention I compared the amount of intimacy from both the 2999 pack vs x5 of the 599 pack an its only a single 599 packs worth of intimacy difference vs the courting bouquets and the vigour potions. if u were to use shop prices for intimacy 599 pack it would be 1k for the earrings u could say 500 for the intimacy rings, an then theres no price for the love packs so 1.5k gems would be a solid estimate for it so 3k value if u look at it from that perspective vs the value of the courting bouquets + vigour potions it would be 2.5k. so right there the 599 pack wins by 500. However no one would buy the intimacy items at that price ever when they could wait for the intimacy event packs. While on the other hand some people would buy the courting bouquets from the general store at the 500 gem price. for example the might/heir event or needing a fodder champion or other reasons. For that reason I can't honestly value the intimacy items the same way but I can see your point of view an respect it.

@@Magnus-hf7ft If we can't value intamacy items at shop prices, we can't value vigors/roses at those prices either. Shop prices give us a standard. One that will be super inflated yes, but a standard. No one is ever buying the counting bouquet from the shop for 500, when you could get bouquets for >200 from guild auction. Worst comes to worst you can buy them for 201 by buying 1399 packs instead of 599 ones. Love packs should be 1.75k value if earrings are 1k. Buying intamacy items at full price from the shop is a better deal than buying vigor potions. 1399 packs are maybe sometimes worth depending on your server, but even then I doubt it. Once you have more companions unlocked you can keep their slots full without needing to spend extra on roses, so just save energy pots until you get more companions. Honestly the mind experiment to do is ask if you had say 500k diamonds, but you had to spend them on shop items at full price what would be the best thing to spend them on for progression? The answer in intamacy items. That tells you all you need to know.

Thanks for this been playing for 30 days but only really took it seriously this past week because I'm spending cash money I want to find the most efficient bang to my buck (or pound 😂) Wasted my first few thousand diamonds as I didn't intend to keep playing except I really loved it & the only game I ever paid & played was mobile strike that I only played to have something to talk to my son about but it was a money pit sadly.

I disagree with your assessment of common packs. If you ware wanting to buy Energy Potions, The store has it value at 4 for 200 gems. That means that the gem value is 0.020. If you were to buy Energy Potions from the common pack, that is 15 for 599 gems. That means that the gem value is 0.025, which is better then just buying them. The common pack is THE BEST WAY TO GO if your goal is energy potions (even with the clan packs available). Its all about perspective. and what your main goal is when you wanna buy something. If you wanna get more value out of your gem, then yes the Clan Packs would be better. Someone on reddit did a whole spreadsheet on that.

The best way to go is not buy energy potions. Do banquets for almost free and all the other ways you get them by just playing the game. I have won all 3 heir challenges in my server and never bought one and still have plenty left. If you are talking about spending a lot and having a crazy amount of diamonds then sure we can start talking about maybe more efficient ways to spend 1 million diamonds but in the video I even said this wasn't geared toward that player

Just because something is cheaper than a shop doesn't make it high value. If it's absolutely atrocious somewhere else it can still be pretty much atrocious at a bargain price
