Hi, I'm Jeremy I'm a 17 year old who has been lost, I have been suffering for so long with sin of all kinds and being so far away from God, I am pretty sure I was possessed by a demon or something I was doing horrible things, I was listening to this song, driving my sister home from youth group, I've been going since I moved into my dad's several months ago, without feeling anything at all, I used to be a strong Christian but not anymore and I don't know what happened, I was just numb to the world, almost committed suicide several times, blocked everyone out. Anyways I was on my way home and this song was in one of my playlists, although I've heard it so many times I never thought much of it other than it's a metal worship song. Tonight I felt the Holy Spirit for the first time in ages when this song came on, the feeling was more than I've ever experienced before and for the first time in my entire life I cried because of how powerful the holy spirit was, I've never done that before. I've felt God's presence but not like this, not ever. I think it was the demon leaving my body or something, I'm not sure but I've never in my entire life experienced this, it just happened 10 minutes ago and I'm still shaking from it, God is amazing, he is fully real and his presence is so incredibly powerful I never knew how great it was. Thank you God, so much, this is what I needed to keep going

I’ve been thru severe backsliding and depression as well, it’s not easy when you know God but can’t feel His presence anymore and are lost in confusion and the passions of our flesh. I must say even though I chose to stay similar to how WE ARE ALL BORN (we are all born Agnostics I just took the next logical step and realized they call that “Atheism” I still really like this song!! As a combat veteran I’ve experienced different religions and different versions of an “invisible man in the sky” and it’s always fascinated me how every person believes theirs is the “right” one. It’s also interesting how people don’t realize the ONLY difference between Atheists and theists is LITERALLY ONE “god”! There have been countless religions and “invisible men/women in the sky” and people don’t believe in any of them except their particular one so I’ll put it as simply as I can. If there have been 1000 “gods” throughout history (I’m just making up a number to use as an example) a “christian” wouldn’t believe in 999 of them, neither would a Buddhist, or a Mormon or a Jew or Muslims!! We simply go one “god” further!!

I dig the lyrics and singing but gosh I'm sorry, the scream vocals don't do it for me. They are fine when screams aren't being held out and when he isn't doing "highs" but anything outside quick mids is just tough to listen to. Singer is terrific.
