Player Perspectives are my favorite kind of stream. Ben's so much more advanced than me, so seeing him and the other players cut out a whole lot of middle-ground bs because they can figure things out quickly is cool to see.

The reason the king is on the script without the choirboy is because the script was made with only the knight revealed, and so Edd took a role off, that happened to be the choirboy, to fit steward, as explained in the showcase video.

Complaining that there is no player elimination in a several hours long social deduction game is the stupid thing, I totally agree with Ben there. Have a friend who had a huge maffia game going on his birthday. He was the person killed by his (not very nice) friends in the maffia on night one, before the game even starts. So instead of playing, he was the games master (that is one way to create a game master for Maffia).

Town of Salem at least had a medium. But yeah the gained depth is nice, because you can lie as you live and slowly reveal the truth, rather than be pressured into shallow play.

There's a farm based ice cream maker called Wallings in sunny Lancashire that stocks - amongst other bizarre flavours - Iron Brew ice-cream. As a big Irn Bru fan I can confirm it is excellent. It's like a pastel orange colour.

The talking at night thing kinda does bother me, only because of madness. There have been games where someone was cerenovoused and they just told everyone their actual role at night to avoid the consequences

Executions via Cerenovus and Mutant can still happen at night. It doesn't skip the day, but it does kill them. The ST could also just execute them the moment the day begins

It is up to the players to be a fair sport and not do this, as it is obviously not intended. And if anyone still did this, I'd just rule that unless they pull something incredible in their first conversation, they haven't convinced anyone they are actually that role (after all, they can't) and just execute them.

I like to have a loose rule that generally speaking, night chats are there to pass the time but not to advance the game. So any information sharing or role claiming should preferably be left for the day phase.

Kat: equally confident when absolutely wrong and absolutely right. Both can happen in a single game and often do. Took me a while to get it. I decided to pay attention because I originally would have described it as insufferable, but have come to understand her strategy, whether purposeful or not, a little better. Basically she is always swinging for the fences. Looking back at the games on this channel (and a few on twitch but not all) she is slightly more often incorrect then correct. I personally find it ever so slightly more entertaining now that I have done a bit of tracking (disclaimer: this is a small sample size of the games I am sure she has played, and thus should be taken with a grain of salt. Even one standard deviation could put her in the + column).
