Thank you for uploading the best song in the game. The intensity of this song is through the roof and it honestly feels like you pissed the final boss off instead of putting him on the ropes. the final boss is motivated and is determined to use everything it has to end you. This is less you fighting the final boss and more you surviving him.

Catching my footing on the falling rubble I look to my companions as it seems we've reached the end of our journey. Dominique just stares forward at the looming figure as it flies ever closer, her spear clutched firmly in her hands as she readies for battle. The white knuckles of her hands as she grips the weapon look familiar, reminding me of myself when I started my travels with Miriam and the others so long ago. Robert throws a weary and worried glance in my direction. I can tell he isn't sure of this, but trusts me as an old friend as he loads his musket. Even the pup seems to understand the gravity of the situation. A muffled, slightly echoed growl leaves his mechanical armor as steam vents from the suit. As the great beast draws near I take a deep breath and draw my blade, the time to finish this at hand.

I distinctly remember Dominique being evil. That being said, I also remember Zangetsu being trapped in some mega-man esque world, so At this point I'm thoroughly confused when it comes to the lore of this series.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the night and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon are not connected. They just share characters and some bosses.

Ritual of the Night and Curse of the Moon are indeed separate. The canon ending for Curse of the Moon 1 is the one you obtain by beating the game while ignoring all the partner characters. As for the Nightmare Mode ending, it's very likely that Zangetsu ended up in the world of Azure Striker Gunvolt, the current flagship IP of Inti Creates.

@@JoakimOtamaa In the Japanese version of the game, the ending involving ignoring all allies ends with "True End", whereas the English version ends with "Fin". So that seems to be the intended ending.

@@thefriendlydragon4811 Oh, I didn't know that. Damn those translators. Only once I finished the game Zangetsu only and that was pretty diffy. Now we just wait which ending the possible CotM3 follows. I didn't even bother Episode 3 with only Zangetsu, the game ranks difficulty so bad at that point. Still enjoy the game, but probably gonna just stick to Episode 1, not a fan of replaying the same levels in (mostly) linear games. Same problem with Crash Bandicoot 3 and 4.

have you tried to slow down or freeze the game through cheat engine's speedhack to record more clean sound without landing sound and that screeching at the beginning? nice job, btw

My source is Switch, so I'm very limited in options. But as a matter of fact, this "boss introduction" music bit isn't even part of the song (at least judging from respective CotM soudtrack, where those were separate tracks). I've explained in the description why I left this particular one in (the atmosphere). You can skip right ahead to the meat 0:14, or cut it out and upload it without that part, maybe you would help someone who don't want to hear it in the beginning. I just didn't think it would be a problem. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

This sounds like old school version of a boss and or level theme from megaman zero which makes sense if you consider inti creates made both zangetsu in the curse games seems a bit zero like in the best ways possible even the charge Saber lol
