If this is any%, why kill bosses for movement shards if you don't need them as Zangetsu?

You need to kill 14 of the main progression bosses to fight final boss, then fight Miriam

I've just asked 2 KZbinrs today about playing as Zangetsu for Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night. And i dont know if they'll answer me or not. Is this an new update where you can play as Zangetsu without a mod?

This is an official update. It's still not out yet if you're playing on Switch. Otherwise, you just need to beat the final boss once again to unlock the new modes
