Я очень долго делал это, и, сказать честно, не горжусь. Но это лишь что-то экспериментальное, так, чисто для души.
Чтобы понять что здесь происходит советую прочитать описание ау ниже.
Siblings!AU разработана мной специально для меня.
В общих чертах: в оригинальной истории Хорнет выступала в роли Рождённого дитя - результат обмена Бледного Короля и Херры Зверя, чтобы вторая согласилась стать грезящей. Но что если бы родились близнецы? Об этом моя АУ. Помимо Хорнет, у Херры был еще и сын - Соно. Всё детство близнецы не ладили, то и дело выясняя, кто сильнее и быстрее, в чем Соно всегда проигрывал. Их пути окончательно разошлись, когда Король, будучи уже создавшим Чистый Сосуд, не оставил попытки укрощения пустоты и подвергал сына экспериментам с ней. Так Соно получил свои крылья, по мотивам которых далее были созданы Крыльни. Однако вскоре ему удалось сбежать, оставив прежнюю жизнь позади и начав новую, за пределами родного дома.
Повзрослев, их терки с сестрой продолжались, пока однажды Хорнет не осознала, что значительно уступает Соно в силе. Она принимает решение - впустить в свои грезы Лучезарность, принять силу, но лишиться сознания. И теперь, будучи зараженной, она бросает вызов брату.

Siblings!AU was created by me. Specially for me.
In general terms: in the original story, Hornet played the role of the Born Child - the result of the exchange of the Pale King and Herra the Beast, so that the second agreed to become a dreaming one. But what if twins were born? This is my AU. In addition to Hornet, Herra also had a son, Sono. Throughout childhood, the twins did not get along, every now and then finding out who is stronger and faster, in which Sono has always lost. Their paths finally parted when the King, having already created the Pure Vessel, did not abandon his attempt to tame the void and subjected his son to experiments with it. This is how Sono got his wings, which were then used to create Wingmoulds. However, he soon managed to escape, leaving his old life behind and starting a new one, outside his home.
Growing up, their grating with her sister continued, until one day Hornet realized that she was significantly inferior to Sono in strength. She makes a decision - to let Radiance into her dreams, to accept strength, but to lose consciousness. And now, being infected, she challenges her brother.

this animation made me think more about hollow knight's infection problem in the hallownest, 1. its probably vicious, but lets say its something like... slimy? 2. it seems to spread either, via parasitic nature, or, as seen in this animation, via bodily fluids. 3. if it is a parasite, it would fall into the catagory: parasitism, the infection benefits from the host, but at the expense of the host itself. 4. its endosymbiotic, existing inside the host, eventually turning into semi-ectosymbiotic (somewhat existing on the outside of the host) 5. its facultative, and somewhat obligate. Facultative because it can exist without a host. But obligate because it does need a host as a form of transmission and trasportation, or as a way of attacking invaders. 6. it can effect the mind of its host, thus making it also neuroactive. taking all these into account, i can determine that the infection can be classed as this: Vicious (or Slimy) Endosymbiotic (somewhat Ectosymbiotic) Neuroactive Facultative (somewhat Obligate) Parasitic so V.E.N.F.P, i've observed its behaviour :P haven't played hollowknight, but seem a dam good enough amount of hollow knight to pick up on the behaviour of the infection. And this animation only gave me more data. hope you found this interesting or something :P Edit: weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell... apparently i am cone head, the infection is caused by the radiance... but why does it spread by blood to blood contact then?... Hmmm... but most importantly... why does hornet have red blood like us humans (hemoglobin)...
