Also I too, was terrified of being a mom... didn't even like kids all that much... but it's SOOOO different when you have your own. :) It's incredible!! and you pick up on everything quickly. It never feels real... you will look at him 2 years from now and ask "I had him? I am his mom?" cause it never feels real. ever. But just like our bodies know exactly what to do in labor.. our hearts and minds know exactly how to click in to the mom instincts. It's crazy. It will be hard often and you will feel lost... but you GOT THIS.

Definitely!!! Just know you are a great mom!!! You are stronger than you may feel sometimes. I cannot imagine how hard these months have been for you but you are such an inspiration because you have the right state of mind many struggle to find. Don't ever forget to be proud of yourself for that. And remember also to forgive yourself for your mistakes and the hard times. There will be times you literally feel you are failing or did the wrong thing and wish you could take it back. Forgive yourself and always be kind to you!!! I wish you the best!!!!

Thank you so much for posting such positive videos. I am currently trying to bloom where I'm planted. About two years ago I moved out of my parents places to move in with my long distance boyfriend of 2 years to NYC at the ripe age of 19 (yikes!). It worked out, and we had even gotten married this last February, but not even 2 months later he wanted to separate. I had no where to go, I couldn't afford a room let alone an apartment in the area so I had to move back in with my parents. I felt so blindsided and betrayed by my partner. We were fine, then suddenly we weren't. The worst part of it all is my relocation has prevented me from being able to finish my schooling. I was in my 2nd year of nursing school. Trying to transfer and get into a program where I live now is nearly impossible because of how competitive it is. So now I have to work and wait and hope that I can get into a program ASAP. I miss the city, my friends, my job, it really felt like home there. I have to make do, and blossom where the wind has taken me. Keep up the great videos and great momming and I hope you make it back to your roots in LA! Love, a fellow seedling.

That sucks about your dryer, but if your washer still works you can still do your laundry at home if you get a clothes line to dry on! It would be a bit difficult if you lived somewhere humid but in a dry place like Arizona it should work fine and it's more enviornmentally friendly!

I too miss the city life, having moved from Stockholm to a small US town, but maybe, once I can go for a job, I'll have it again and be able to bloom fully and hopefully my husband, too.
