I hope Keene is brought back after the election. Hordern offers little regarding markets and would be a better fit for Balance of Power. Keene is one of the best out there and the show is worse off without him. I scrolled ahead for Yardeni and skip the rest. I used to watch Surveillance every day. Now I cherry-pick for a guest or two once or twice a week.

the effect on market of doing a 50 bps with hawkish messaging VS a 25 bps with a dovish messaging, or even hinting of 50bps in Nov, is basically the same. And doing a catch up cut could've easily risked spooking the market into pricing in recession, something that's not worth doing if the Fed wasn't actually concerned about tipping into a recession themselves.

1:13:00 ypu are really always trying to excuse each horrible trump policies. He never once implied that tarrif was a negociation, he said it was his fiscal policies, that it was bow he was paying for tax cut, that doesn't sound like temporary tarrif.
