@@GlassEater420 I'm glad you addressed this subject. No doubt the events will attract many cringe furry cosplayers, however, most of the artwork for the set is done tastefully. I am meeting with some of the artists in October, and I plan on asking them how they achieved these authentic, non-cringe aspects in their artwork. I will give you that the artist Tapioca has failed in this respect in their creation of Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Justin Gerard also failed to create a non-cringe Jace. I think the art director didn't know how to tell the artists that Jace needed to be more animal and less human. That seems to have been the problem with these two pieces. These two pieces seem to be the most cringe pieces in the set. Which cards in this set do you consider to be most cringeworthy?

Regardless of the print run, the demand isn't there and the sentiment is terrible. No way to know if parking a stack in it will be a stagnant asset for five years or it'll go up next year. What we do know is we can refuse it because we don't want Wizards to keep making these terrible products which have a popular IP attached to them, then sell them to investors because of "the potential" or whatever.

The set that EVERYONE seems to be excited about other than the people that (for some reason) thought that it would be just like the old ixlan sets, which was hardly anyone. We like Bloomburrow coming out in 2 weeks and Duskmourn coming out September 27th, which will be followed by Foundation. We get a good laugh every time Rudy tries to push Assassin’s Creed set onto us. Rudy lost big on the Bloomburrow commanders decks, those decks are awesome, those commanders card artworks are commander worthy.

Long term assassins creed should do well because of the small print. The fan base is big but neglected by ubisoft. If there were to be a good assassins creed game. Or if Amazon were to make a hit series similar to fallout it might drive the product close to fallout levels. The fans are there and hungry. Ghosts of Tsushima was a massive success and I think its because it felt like a real Assassins Creed Game but better than anything current Ubisoft could do.

Seems like the theme will attract a bunch more players and collectors, though maybe not quite as much as Duskmourn. Hasbro will undoubtedly be pleased with the results too.

I honestly don't know why there is a ton of hype. The Power is probable on par with WOE, but defiantly not as good as OTJ and LCI. The Art is nice, but the thematic design feels more ideal for draft then Standard play with except for the Infamous Cruel Claw which will likely see play in all most every format (mainly because Rakdos players need a reason to feel good after the banning of Fury). Beza and Bria might be nice too, but you would have to be determined to play Mono-White or Izzet respectively. (Edit) I'm actually kind of excited to see Duskmourn because some of the already revealed cards (like Overlord of the Hauntwoods) look absolutely wild!

I have not heard anyone say they can't wait for bloomburrow. This looks like hey remember how Hello Kitty tanked Metapoo? Let's have a big boy discussion. The only folks that care about this set besides furries are small children. That doesn't mean you can't still make money from it, but this set sucks. As an investor I think it's a cringe oppurunity to short HAS and it isn't just about this opening up Zynga style lawsuits of why are you attracting children to gambling on mtga? There's going to be a new mess of even more furries showing up with kids to LGS. Which I think is just a new twist on why 😅 this never works to just pull the age group down that far in general. I think if they quickly U-turn and we're not going into Pepa Pig vs Bloomburrow maybe the furries might still run the prices high. the leading character in my card game’s last name is Peakmind it kind of describes how the card game goes. the other superheroes in the game are the ‘eye heart freedom team’ and the glass animals are called ‘peeepeyemon.’ I am Thinking of calling the card game ‘first time’ though. Bloomburrow does look like a great set. i hope people go out and have fun playing it. it's what Magic is about. the not so fun news about Bloomburrow. the "set" box experience in a draft box seems to be ending. no more "list" cards. to be sure there were really bad "list" cards. there were some really awesome "list" cards. for those that don't know the "list" has been replaced as of this set with special guest cards with pull rates so low you might not hit 1 of these cards in a play booster box. the pull rate is something like 1 in 64 packs. (?) welcome to the new world order where draft boxes now cost $130 plus dollars. awesome news on a great looking set. not awesome is the massive cost increase Wizards just dumped on its fans.

@@ShabbahCore most of the final draft boxes Wizards printed had multiple rare or mythics packs. in addition, as of Bloomburrow Wizards nerfed the pull rates of rares and mythics. the chances of getting a double rare, rare and mythic and multiple rares/ mythics has been reduced.
