What a great video! Monk's House and the surrounding areas are gorgeous. You can definitely see why she set her desk facing the hills in the distance, assuming that nothing obscured them previously. The whole area must've been wonderful for someone so brilliantly perceptive as she.

I have the 2013 book ‘Virginia Woolf’s Garden’ by Caroline Zoob. It’s a beautiful coffee table book. Thank you for videoing the garden. Selfishly, I wish the video went for longer. It looked beautiful. I have to embarrassingly admit, I’ve not read a Virginia Woolf book yet. I think I’ll read a little more about her life before choosing. In the time I’ve taken to write this comment, I’ve decided that I’ll buy a Virginia Woolf book for Christmas - a gift to myself this year (2020). A wonderful reason to add another book to my bookshelf. Thank you for your inspiration 🍁🍂🍄

I know that this is an old post, but i wonder if you were able to note some of the books on Virginia Woolf's shelves. Are these original? I believe that most of her library is now housed at Washing State University. Those painted volumes look like they were done by Vanessa Bell or Duncan Grant--or are they just facsimiles? Fascinating!
