You should have set sellback value to 0. I'm sure there's a mod for that. This would serve two purposes. 1. When an attack 'pops' a tower, I think it technically sells it, meaning the defender can just buy the tower back, only losing a bit of money, rather than losing all of the money they put into the tower. 2. It would make the saboteur's decisions more... important. After all, if you spend 20k on a tower, just to get rid of another specific tower, then that's 20k that's completely lost, rather than just about 6k, with you getting back about 14k.
