I use the spike factory w a y too often because it is op. And my placement is usually for the first one as close too the end as possible since it takes a while for the spike factory too generate the spikes, And it takes a small amount of time for the ballons too reach the end. But if you can put it where it occasionally can place spikes somewhere other than the end thats also a good idea because it will then place a spike occasionally taking a chunk of the ballons also incresing the time it has too keep placing more spikes. But this is mostly null and void with the perma spikes since they will just stay there so with perma spikes you just want the factory too have a lot of place too cover with spikes since there i s a stack limit.

The spike factories don't need space to place spikes, they can just pile up in the same spot and it'll work just fine. Perma-spike is pretty much useless as an up-front tower as the bloons will just eat through the spikes in one round.

There’s no limit for the stack amount, it’s just that the spikes have a limit for how long they last within a round as well as a round limit, so if the round lasts to long the spikes will begin to disappear. Also on the marketplace cross pathing it depends on wether or not you have the monkey knowledge “more valuable bananas” if you have it middle path is better, if you don’t have it top is better

Also, if you set it to smart, the spikes will come out wherever the farthest bloon is, so it will sort of target them.
