Also if you get a maxed out monkey engineer in the overclock ability you can overclock the farms, and leave residual overclock once ability is over, and severely multiply the speed at which farms produce

In a no powers run, it's definitely a lot better to use banks (2-3-0 path) in which the earlier the better. With some monkey knowledge, banks can get 9,500 cash in 8-10 rounds per bank and each bank is like 4,000-5,000 spending money to get it ready. Adding in the tier 4 middle druid helps too as he make a lot of cash with more banks around him. Those are the main meta strats for low cost, high profit.
