The absolute ultimate showman, certainly in the television format. Classy, elegant, sublime, regal. That's what made the show so great. That style. Drew does a respectable job, but Drew isn't a showman. He acts more as a carnival barker. Bob just had it.

I've been watching a lot of these older Bob Barker clips. The one thing that I noticed out of all these clips is there is no fat people in the audience. If this was done today, there would be no skinny people in the audience.

When the movie Cliffhanger came out, I am surprised they didn't pay the Price is Right some money and replace the Cliff Hanger character with Sylvester Stallone. That would have been the perfect advertisement for that movie. It is one of the most watched game in daytime TV.
