Got triggered as you skipped out on upgrades as usual, this time the carrier healing drones in particular. So many carriers would have survived earlier if you just spent those few minerals.

He also missed the Launch Bays upgrade which is under healing drones. Thats faster movement speed AND attack speed for the drones.

the goal is to do as well as possible with as few upgrades as possible in case things go south

@@turtlememes2334 That doesn't make any sense. He already invested hundreds of minerals rushing to t3 and into carriers, might as well spend a few minerals to get the repair upgrade. And the repair upgrade supports every other mechanical unit that Karax has, in case he has to transition. And in case "things go south" (as in getting countered), doubling down on more carriers is the last thing you'd wanna do anyway, so might as well get the upgrade to make them more tanky. There is absolutely no reason not to get that upgrade in his case.

if he ever needs to he can at a moments notice, and he has an option if they start to push out. if youve already gotten the upgrades there is nothing u can do but more carriers, while he is prepared to have a huge powerspike

@@turtlememes2334 You must be trolling, because there is no way you can be serious here. He already risked a lot by going straight t3, and had 7 (seven!) carriers before any of the carrier upgrades. Thats many thousands of resources invested (each carrier is what these days, 350-400 minerals invested, plus the additional 700 minerals for the T3 rush)? And about this: "if youve already gotten the upgrades there is nothing u can do but more carriers" - HOW does spending 150 or so minerals for an upgrade lock you into carrier spam for the rest of the game and "prevent" you from going for something else? And you do also realize that carriers with healing drones make them LESS obsolete with whatever else he has to transition into, because those same carriers can heal his transition as well?

@@Weigazod because sc2 uses cooldown speed-up/acceleration instead of cooldown reduction. So with 4 cooldown auras you get 100% extra/boost, for total 200% cooldown speed or 50% as much cooldown time as default.

Disagree with some of the more minuscule details of the build, and props to that mengsk of course But overall, just glad to see something that’s not cooldown focused (At least in versus, believe it’s 8 Interceptors per carrier, and love the Dehaka Yoshi bit)

Alarak Vanguard gets 8 attacks. +6 attack = 48 dmg. + the +3 damage from normal upgrades ( 24 damage). In total, it's +72

the number of people in direct strike who think creepers do aoe to air is staggering. They don't. On a similiar note, deminos vikings also don't have aoe in the air.

btw, the triple aura weekly has been finished for about 3 days now, so please, for anyone looking in the comments, if your coming onto the game to play that, don't, you will be disappointed and likely cause the team to lose in the current weekly. because unfortunately current weekly of note is unstoppable, which is +2% max health for a unit per enemy they kill, so in other words, spamming small stuff or big things that are easily countered by other big things means that your feeding the other team free kills for max health and will inevitably cause the team your on to lose unless the other team is feeding harder than yours. don't worry, if you hate this weekly, you're not alone, I hate unstoppable, everyone I've met/hosted said they hate unstoppable, and I'm betting most people in the direct strike community hate unstoppable too.

I disagree. the bonus dmg for the colossus is huge. They may attack slower but it is aoe and the bonus dmg helps to break some of those armors while allowing for one shots.

Yeah, very cool one. Would have loved to also see the mirages with their phasing armor on triple cooldown. That would have been insane. But I don't expect you pre-recorded that one before the brawl ended.

Weekly brawl has 2 modes -standard (default) -commanders (you have to chouse it in the bar under "weekly brawl" on the right side of your screen)
