Blow Drying AND Styling with ONE TOOL? | Revlon Hair Dryer FAB or FAIL Review

It’s time for another #FabOrFail, this time I’ll be reviewing the #Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer Hot Air Brush. It says can blow dry AND style my hair at the same time? Is that true? Watch to find out!

As a mom of 6 with an extremely busy schedule, I love trying out products that could potentially make my life easier and save time! This Revlon product claims to basically dry and style your hair at the same time, as opposed to my normal routine which involves a blow dryer AND an additional styling tool (either straightener, wand, curling iron, etc).
The end goal with this tool is to feel like you’ve just had a professional blow out from a hair salon.
After trying the tool, I have to say that I am VERY pleased with the final result! My hair was definitely more volumized at the root than when I just use a normal blow dryer, and it was overall a lot smoother! For my personal taste, I would still most likely go in with a straightener to smooth out some of my face framing pieces, but that’s totally just my preference! I like for the smaller pieces of hair around my face to be super sleek and straightened, but I know lots of people who really like that freshly, blow-dried, fluffier look!
This tool is definitely a FAB 👍🏼 from me, and I’ll especially use it on Paisley’s hair to prep for when I add hair to her braids. I would strongly recommend this tool if you’re looking for some extra volume and smoothness in your hair!

I got one for Christmas and I LOVE it! They recommend that you have partially air dried hair and I love it that way. Greatly reduces the amount of time/heat I’m spent blow drying/straightening my hair!

I’ve had this styling tool for just over a year and I LOVE it. And it’s great for traveling. I can pack this and not worry about having to pack a hair dryer, flat iron and brush. This does it all.

I LOVE mine! I never learned how to properly blow dry with a brush and this helps immensely. I do use a flat iron to go over some pieces. It’s a lifesaver.

I love mine! I have curly hair and rarely use any heat on it, but every once in a while if I want it straight I usually have to spend a very long time first blow drying and then straightening my hair. This brings it down to one step and it goes much faster and it's much easier! On a day to day basis, I've found it works great on my bangs to bring them back to the shape I want.

I love mine! My favorite thing to do for fool proof volume is to hold my head upside-down and brush my roots with it! When you flip your head back I just finger comb the ends a little and it looks amazing!

I actually got this brush as a Christmas gift last year, before a lot of the really great KZbin reviews started popping up. I was so pleased to see that so many people were having great experiences with it, because in my opinion, it was a total game changer. This is 110% the ONLY "gimmicky" hair tool that has ever actually paid off exactly what it says it's going to do. I have had super thick hair my entire life, and I've never been able to use a blow dryer. NEVER. It always just seemed to take forever, and never actually dried my hair. This is the ONLY tool I've ever been able to use that will dry my super thick hair in a relatively short amount of time. I'd say about the same amount of time it would take to flat iron or curl my full head of air-dried hair. I never thought I could get the blow outlook except when I went to the salon. I will never get rid of this thing, it's invaluable to me not only as a dryer but also as a "refresher" on days 2 and 3 when my flat-ironed roots need a bit of lift.

My dad was the one who told my mom to get this last Christmas. I love it so much. It’s cut down my hair styling time so much. I barely use the straightener iron. The secret is that you do need to either air dry or blow dry your hair a little in order for the Revlon tool to work and dry faster. I used to use it with my soaked hair and although it dries faster than the old fashioned way....it still took me 45. (It used to take me an hour and fifteen min to blow dry)

I have thick, course, long, stick straight hair. I bought one of these solely to speed up blow drying my hair and I love it!! With a blow dryer it would easily take me an hour and still be wet in some parts but with this, I’m done in like 20 minutes tops!

I have the same hair texture as Mindy but normal thickness and down past my elbows. I love this tool! I also use will shower at night, let my hair air dry and use this on high heat in the morning and can do my entire head smooth in 10 min or so. Love it!

I have one of these and use it often ever since cutting my hair to a lob. I either air dry my hair or rough dry with my normal blow dryer to 70-80% dry and then swap over to the Revlon brush.

My hair is naturally straight, but when it’s wet it’s wavy but I prefer it wavy and straight tbh, also these videos really help me realise what type of hair I actually have and it educates me and e hairstyles oh my I’ve loved them since 2014 🖤❤️

I've been using this brush for over a year now based on reviews from other KZbinrs. I absolutely love mine!! I let my hair air dry a good bit before going on with this. The end result is shiny, voluminous hair. I create more volume by flipping the top hair back & forth while drying it. I also flip my head upside-down at the end to add a little more omph. My hair is thick, wavy & mid length, for reference. My only con to this product is that it gets insanely hot🥵!! Also, make sure you are buying the real deal & not a lot of the fakes that are going around.

I have found that quick rough drying your hair w/ a regular blow dryer until her your is semi dry helps smoothing your hair in the front. In addition, using hair product truly helps as well. 😁

I’m in love with this tool. I’m sure you will get more volume once you get accustomed to it. Also you’re able to get the smooth ends with it. No need for an iron.

I got this brush for Christmas and I love it so much! My normally very flat, sometimes frizzy looong hair with a slight wave blow dries smooth and mostly straight with this tool. And it is quicker and easier for me than using a normal blow dryer and round brush, since my hair is so long and it’s such a balancing act using both arms (plus they get so tired)

I have curly long hair. I love this Revlon styler. It works best when my hair is about 70% dry. It takes me about 7 mins. The wetter your hair is, the longer it takes.

Love this tool! I do it a little different and it looks just like a blow out. I have super thick hair and it takes me 20 min to dry my whole head from towel dry. If I were to blow dry with a hair dryer it'd take 15 min plus then I'd have to heat set it which takes another 20 min. So this is a great one step tool.

I have it and really like it for how easy it is to use. I tend to get pain in my hand when using a round brush. Best advice I’ve gotten with it is to let your hair air dry about 80% prior to blowing it dry. I take a shower at night so I just let it air dry while I get my kids ready for bed. If I was to shower in the morning then it would probably take too long for my liking.

This is the best hair dryer ever!!! Mine is pink though🤔 and to avoid any frizziness I use it in the lowest setting and a little drop of Loquay primer blitz. Leaves my hair looking amazing 😉

I comb my hair back to make it look shorter and straight for church sometimes and always when serving as an ordinance worker at a temple. Otherwise I leave my hairs natural curls.

You can get great volume if you flip your hair over ( Imagine bending forward heads toward ground, brushing your hair towards the top of head, stay in this position) and blow drying until hair is mostly dry.

I tend to do one or two passes over the top of the section and then go in to volumize. It smooths the top of the hair and gives volume!

I love this video! I tried to do this with just a regular brush and hairdryer for the first time the other day...it did not go well 😂😂 this looks way easier!!
