Sheera's right about Gwi-nam, he believed since he wasn't the bullies' gopher anymore and even killed the bully that essentially commanded him that he was much more better than everyone else and essentially controlled the school now. Only to be hit with the reality that everyone still hates him and he doesn't have as much control as he wanted to. As a side note though: The virus amplifies a person's rage, Gwi-nam was acting irrational and stupid over the whole eye thing and killing cheong san because those were his last thoughts before 'dying'. And about Cheong-san's death, well, they wouldn't spend the whole final episode crying over his death. But you can see that it definitely impacts On-Jo a lot, and the others to a lesser extent. I feel like the reason the commander was so hurt by what he had to do was that zombies, before this tragedy, were just stories. When they mentioned "Train to Busan." It was like another piece of media to them. No one is given a "How to deal with the zombie apocalypse during and after." Unfortunately, many people are still ignorant of what happened so most people will deem him a murderer without even knowing all about the situation. He could try to prove otherwise, but this man is obviously exhausted - mentally, physically, and emotionally. When he was seated as commander, he could have never known there would come a day when he would have to kill a certain population for the betterment of humanity. He did not do anything wrong, absolutely not. But the human mind can only withstand so much trauma and negativity and when his wife snapped at him it was the final straw. He has done a bad thing again, he has failed his lifeline. Or so what he thought in the moment of his deep depression and despair. He became too overwhelmed and sadly he took his life. I, for one, could never imagine giving an order as such. He is a fictional character, but may that man go down in history.

Honestly I might just be crazy but not only do I think Cheongsan is gonna be a hambie since you'd think he'd have started turning before the explosion otherwise, but I think he grabbed Gwinam in order to SAVE him. There's no reason for Cheongsan to use him as a human shield because the chances of him not being a regular zombie is quite low so he would have figured he was dead anyway, no? So I thought maybe he dragged Gwinan down with him in the off chance that if he survived he'd maybe be stuck but elevator shafts are probably about as "easy" to climb as a building so I doubt that too. Basically, all Cheongsan did was take a hambie that was incapacitated by the sound of the explosion and move him significantly away from the main force of the explosion, aka whether he meant to or not he gave Gwinam a better chance of surviving than if he had just left him where he was. So considering stuff like the teacher's speech about life and the fact that, asshole or not, Gwinam is still a person, I wouldn't doubt Cheongsan being a good enough guy to save his enemy. Which may lead to a redemption arc because tbh if you think Gwinam in the show is an asshole, you should see how bad he is in the webcomic. He's actually psychopathic and genuinely terrifying. It would be weird to have nerfed him so much and made him significantly less scarier only to kill him off at about where the original version of him died. But that might just be wishful thinking on my part as Gwinam's actor is such a scene stealer, especially whenever him and Cheongsan are together.

@@demongawl Yeah that's what I said, he DIDN'T beat the bad guy. I liked that. This made the bully feel like an actual threat. When ever he showed up you know shit was about to go bad for them. The fact that you guys don't like him means he is playing his part as the bad guy well. There is nothing more annoying than an incompetent bad guy who can never get anything done because "plot." This bully stalked them the entire show and was an ever present threat to EVERYONE.

This show started off so good. Then towards the end it became a mess that just annoyed me more than anything. Like I understand things have to happen in order to move the plot. But the writers didn't need to keep making them painfully dumb.

Yeah, I feel like the show started to go downhill and become seriously frustrating in an attempt to be emotional and shocking. I'm not satisfied with Episode 11 at all. A lot of the subplots felt haphazardly thrown together and needless just for extra deaths.

I never even thought about this but the general's mother was in hyosan(don't know if I spelled this correctly). I don't know whether she was evacuated or not but if its the latter then he just killed his mum.

Guys the commander was so fucked up because there were still thousands of people who hadn't turned yet trapped in Hyosan, but they classified them as asymptomatic. He made the decision to bomb them anyway because he had no choice - if the turned ones got out, SK gonna get fucked up. Its just that there were still people left that could've possibly been saved.

them being annoyed over Gwi nam not leaving Cheong san alone, is annoying me. Dude that's the whole point of being a hambie! when you get bit, if you are determined to do something and are fearless, it keeps your human conscience intact and that's what makes you a hambie. When gwi nam was bit, all he had in mind was to kill Cheong san and that's what he kept doing afterwards. Even Eun Ji was determined to fu*k everybody up so that's what she kept doing. Namra was detremined to save her friends especially Su Hyeok. and them being in danger was her trigger.
@citrusbutter77185 ай бұрын
The military guy wasn't worried about zombies being blown up, it's because they knew there had to be survivors hunkering down trying to survive and that they would be killed in that city too just to save the rest of South Korea. It's like gassing mosquitos knowing that you're going to kill a lot of butterflies in the process.

Tbh, the only thing that kind of pissed me off about the whole bombing thing is that the military intended for those kids to be left for dead. So, if they had not had Nam-ra, they would have been f ed. Otherwise, I wonder why the walking dead never thought of this lmao.

19:16 it didn't show them get disintegrated, just engulfed in flames. The survival chances would be quite low, but a halfbie might make it, I'd have to get better info on the type of bomb likely to be used and some actual idea of how hot those flames would of burned them to give a solid yay or nay tho. As far as i know they are both dead

Part of the writing wanted to show that Byeong-chan both succeeded and failed with his virus because Gwi-Nam and Namra are hybrid humans now with superhuman strength when they need it. Byeong-chan, in trying to save his son, made more of a monster of the bully he was trying to protect his son against. Gwi-nam won all the battles he wanted (which is frustrating, I agree) but by the end of it, it didn't really matter. He didn't gain any more respect by being stronger, but that was Byeong-chans goal, to make his son stronger to stand up to the bullies and make them respect him more. Cheong-san stood up to Gwi-nam and fought back but was still eventually defeated, showing that humans wouldn't be able to take down his son if they tried, had he been in control as a hambie. I was really frustrated over Cheong-san's death though. We were all hoping for a happy ending between him and Onjo. It was bittersweet in a way because he went out protecting Onjo and his friends which he did throughout the whole season. He escaped death so many times on his own but couldn't transform into a hambie in time to beat him :( That being said, there's many many theories that he's still alive since the directors given us cliffhangers the whole season and didn't show the rest of his body clearly

I don’t think he felt guilt about bombing the zombies, more so the fact that he had to make a lot of awful choices and that weighed in on him. The way he treated the people in camp, ordering his soldiers to kill the kids, and bombing the city knowing there were civilians still. He genuinely seemed like he wanted to save everyone but ultimately he had to make monstrous decisions and that probably just broke him.

Other than how long Gwi-nam and Na Yeon lasted, my biggest problem with this show is how every time someone sacrifices themselves to by people time (bitten or not) the people they try to help spend so much time arguing about it or just standing there that the sacrifice ends up nearly pointless. Sometimes the person didn't even mean to be a sacrifice, they just end up dying anyway because everyone else is too stupid to run when they have the chance and the person gets bitten unnecessarily. As for the final showdown, I think maybe I would have liked it more if they hadn't found them so many times. There came a point that seeing him was just annoying, they threw him out too many windows only to have him pop up again. And he shouldn't have been able to pop dude's eye like that. I guess pocket sand isn't that great when you don't follow up with rebar to the head. My first target on a guy like that is the remaining eye.
