I can only inflate it about halfway before I can’t anymore. Any advice? I tried to find 360 balloons originally, but could only find some 260s, which I know is bad for a beginner, but it’s all that would show up on a quick search.

I do have advice! So blowing up the balloon fully is probably not advised since twisting the balloon to make things pushes the air along the balloon so if it’s blown up all the way, the air won’t have anywhere to go and it’ll pop. However, if you do want to inflate the balloon more, you can squeeze the balloon where it’s inflated and that will push the air along the balloon and make it easier to get air in. Then just rinse and repeat. So blow up the balloon as far as it’ll go, then physically squeeze the inflated part to move the air along the balloon and then blow more air in. Do this a few times to inflate to however much you want. Please let me know if that helps! Otherwise I can make a video about it

I got some mixed results. While squeezing and re-blowing the balloon did help inflate more length, it got misshapen and weak in certain areas. Tried to straighten it as best I could, but it was still noticeable. I also still don’t have quite the length necessary to do certain things like a flower(based on some tutorials I’m watching, anyway). All in all, the max tail is maybe 4-6 fingers long, which is still good enough in general, so thanks!@@HoboDan

@@LifeLongArtist Ok! I’ll take that as progress. I wouldn’t be too concerned about the misshapen balloon since once you start creating your flower it won’t be too noticeable. I know what you’re talking about and I agree it’s frustrating - I’d chalk it up to the brand of balloons but I could be wrong. Specifically for a flower you don’t need too much air since there’s a lot of twists - especially with five to six petals. For a flower, if the balloon has little pressure in it then that’s good in my opinion but I’d be sure if you listened to the tutorial they’d guide you properly. Let me know if you got your flower!

How do you hold the balloon?

I believe I explain in the video but you’ll have one hand with your index finger and your thumb with a loose grip toward the top and your second hand (also index and thumb) will be a tight grip about 2-4 inches down from your first hand. A loose grip means some air can pass through where you’re holding when you blow and a tight grip means no air can pass through where you’re holding when you blow. I hope that makes sense!

That’s not y2k y2k was because the year was going to reset because they didn’t use the first 2 digets on computes so it would be 00 resetting all records

They vary but always 260s. Usually Party City ones but the difficulty definitely depends on the brand.
