I was going to say that this is debatable but it's actually undeniable. The love I have for Chris Cornell is abnormally real and honest... and you just did that song The Way It Was Written. Which is damn near impossible because Chris could not even deliver it the way it was written in his mind. What you just did, was in every sense of the word " flawless" . Nice job! I've got the same guitar. Fyi You're hitting the wrong chords at 3:18 though. You were right on "want to make it understood" (then guitar does B-D-B-E) but the guitar after "wanting though i never would" it's supposed to switch to B-E-B-F# but you kept it at B-D-B-E from the line before. most wouldn't notice but to me that helps it built into the power part following since the ascending progression builds into the power.
