AMEN! Why would someone even want to entertain another person that wouldn’t even consider accepting their kids? That’s why you need to tell people up front you have children because if they can’t accept that, then it’s not meant to be. The children should be #1. You’re right, people keep it quiet because they know it’ll kill their chances but it should really be viewed as weeding out those that aren’t meant for you.

Everyone makes mistakes. He said '' hind sight is 20/20 '', meaning if he had it to do over again he would have been up front and honest from the start. I say give him the do over. He's still very young, and this is how we learn : sometimes by making a mistake. I disagree with what his girlfriend said, though, about not needing to tell everything at the start of a new relationship. Not everything but something life changing, like a previous marriage and a baby; those facts fall under the heading of information that is necessary to get straight. Also- it could sow a seed for wondering, '' What else is he hiding ? '' They're in love. I hope everything works out , happily-ever-after.
