I'm not sure if they ever signed a treaty to join the Axis, but Finland was definitely allied with Germany after the Winter War. They participated in Barbarossa to try and recover the territory lost. Though after the Soviets turned the tide Finland signed another armistice and under it fought the Germans still in Finland

Finland did in fact have a conflict with Germany during the Lapland war where the fins saws the tides turning and signed a peace treaty with the Soviets that made it so no Germans troops could be inside Finnish territory so Finland ended up fighting the Germans.

The complete timeline of Finno Russian wars after 1900 is as follows 1917:During the Russian Revolution Finland declares independence 1921-22 East Karelian Uprising: Karelian and separatists and Finnish soldiers fight to establish a Karelian country they are defeated 1939-40Winter War: Soviets invade Finland as they want to take Finnish land they succeed but with very heavy losses and it shows Russian incompetence and makes hitler more confident in Operation Barbarossa 1941-44 Continuation War: The Finns looking to regain lost land team up with the Axis though never join it in an invasion of Russia they lose and have more land taken and have to put important leaders on trial for war crimes. 1944-45 Lapland War: Finns are forced by the Soviets to fight the Germans retreating through there land Finnish victory

There was never a treaty. The Germans gave them weapons and equipment to fight the USSR in the winter war, but they remained mostly neutral during ww2.

Finland was technically ally with germany after their territory was taken by the soviet, they then ally with germany as they have a common enemy then when babarosa begin, the fins only took their territory back, afterwards they didn't join the operation at all, when germany was getting beaten, the soviet invaded finland and make them into an ally country. So to some extent they where sorta in axis but not fully in the alliance tho

Finland helped Germany in the War with the battle of Leingrad they took back the land they lost to Russia in the winter war but they didnt totally help the germans , after the war russia reconised that if finland had of took more land they could of cut Leingrad off from being supplied so russia knew the Fins just took back their land and didnt help Germany surround Leingrad which would if probilly fell if it couldnt be resupplied.
