I did'nt expect to see such a charming and quaint city of Galle in Sri Lanka. . .with a bit of historical background that dates back in the 17th century. I've learned too that its sometimes referred to as "little Europe" due to the influence of its European colonizers. Thanks Martin for showing, we wouldn't have known and got interested until you featured it in your vlog.

You know what Martin the reason why your blogs are different from the rest it is because everytime you are in a different place, you always give us a brief but concise information about the place especially about its history. That makes your blog not just entertaining but informative as well. You know, this Fort Galle is similar to our Corrigidor (Bataan) and Vigan (Ilocos Sur) for the vintage houses/bldgs/churches located in Northern Phil. Yay, I've been waiting for this upload! Thank you for showing us Galle. That's one of the places I chose as part of my itinerary for my upcoming travel to SriLanka in Feb. Unfortunately I only have 8-10 days to visit. So far my itinerary: 1 night Dambulla, 2 nights Kandy, 2 nights Ella, 1 night Mirissa, 1 night Galle (or possibly combine 2 nights in Mirissa with a day visit in Galle), and last 1 night in Columbo. I believe this is a popular route. What do you think???Looking for travel company to coordinate this with as a private tour. You guys have also inspired me to go back to Dubai and check out Expo 2020 since they are shutting it down in Mar. So doing Dubai 3-4 nights in addition to SriLanka. Looking forward to more SriLankan vlogs 😊
