How about using that light weight oil now? Did deep to find out why it failed. I’ll bet it was the thin oil.

Had nothing to do with thin oil and everything to do with crap engines with crappy pistons that are known to break

The one we just blew up we paid around 6K for, they are 10-12K straight from the supplier now, it’s disgusting. (That’s CAD too, not USD in case you’re thinking 12K USD lol)

@@JRDmotorsports yeah..I mean 8K USD is still too much for a crate motor. I'm not trying to be rude but the 602 crate isnt worth that kinda money. Our Supers over here in NY are allowed built motors. Even with the cost of machine work I have about 10k from my carb to the pan into my motor. I guess if the series is actually policing them it's an okay deal but I just don't like them and I'm thankful they're non existent over here in our class. I mean yeah we have plenty of guys with 20k+ built motors but we can beat them or run damn close.

@ryanlagoda1352 our series puts such a weight penalty on built motors our hands are tied pretty much. Agreed it’s disgusting what they’re coating these days! Didn’t take it as a chirp, you’re bang on correct!
