Thank you for your comments, has to be said was a real joy to work on and driving it was a fantastic experience, once down the lane surrounded by fields it could of been the 1940's ... Keep an eye out for some videos I will be doing of the GMC CCKW in the near future.... take a look here.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKTUiGCioLacfM0

@@BLOWN8CYLINDER Yes a joy indeed, both to work on and drive. The GMC looks like a slightly bigger proposition..... I did a Bedford O type, 1952 which we still have, I love driving it and after the long restoration I don't ever envisage parting with it. If you haven't seen my video of the restoration, it's here kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJ-yoYp8YthmgLM The quality of the photo's isn't that brilliant but that's because they were taken before digital photo's came in, I hope that you enjoy it🙂

@BLOWN8CYLINDER4 жыл бұрын
@@1000guy1 I can well believe this one was caspable of reaching those speeds, but having not been on the road for an estimated 16 years and the fact it didn't belong to me I took it steady..... If I had the money I would love to buy and restore one.
