Imo the biggest issue in the game is the leader slot ability since it allows busted units from different tags to be ran together. They implemented it for units that don't have too many tags as a lazy substitute but people don't really use it for that purpose

Honestly the pvp meta is so garbage rn. Its just ultra gohan on hybrids, leader slot on Androids or on son family. They gave ultra gohan way too many get out of jail free cards. Aoe green that locks in, ki reduction, a counter gauge that when activated destroy ur hand for whatever reason, a counter blue card, endurance, blast armor nullification. His kit is just way too op. They messed up with him ngl

And to make it worse, there are almost no good purple units to counter gohan. The only 2 are exploding cell and zenkai jiren but considering that alot of people run ultra gohan with UUI, one bad play means ur purple is dead. Its either that or swap to super 17 and combo until next year. And thats another thing, a red meta would be fine if there was good blues in meta, but because of gohan no one runs blues so no counter to red beast or super 17 either. Basically a 24/7 disadvantage playing against ultra gohan and super 17

you farm friendship equips, as soon as their equips get announced everyone already knows who the unit is, so they do friendship battles 1-2 days before the equip actually comes out, also in story mode, it's the Majin buu cover, it's book 1 episode 8 I think, gives you a lot of friendship level compared to every other lvl in the game.
