Nice, I'm nearly upto 1000 with my DVD's now. I focus on 80's & 90's movies, specific TV sets (Star Trek, X Files, House MD complete etc), completions of entire sets, as well as IMDB Top 250 of all time (might be an idea for you to check the lists, you'd probably be surprised how little you need to get to finish off the IMDB lists). Admittedly with Bluray I haven't really switched yet, unless I find the HD boxset nice & cheap on Ebay, however in the UK here one of my main go to places is CeX stores (most DVD's for 50 UK pence/1 NZ Dollar). Your BR collection must have cost you $$$. You're doing well. =)

While the DVD of entity is playing, try clicking on the home button on your remote. Should solve the problem. If you've tried it I can't help.

Yeah that was the first thing I tried unfortunately. I've tried different players, computers, etc, and I'm convinced the disc just doesn't have a menu at all. I have a handful of movies like that but this was the only one that said it had a special feature.

I got my collection to around 4000 but then decided I didn't want to own anything I didn't love so I had a big clear out and I'm just under 1800 now, I have 41 unwatched which I am getting through so I can keep or get rid😁 there's probably another 50 or so I would get rid of but my kids like them😒

What's your opinion on the difference between Blu ray and DVD?

Great question! It's something you really have to see rather than explain, but blu-ray has objectively better audio and picture quality. I still purchase DVDs if the show/movie isn't available on blu-ray, or if I'm picking up something super cheap (though I'm starting to move away from doing this). If you're on the fence about upgrading to blu-ray, I say do it! Though it's important you have an HDMI enabled TV of a decent size so you can actually reap the benefits.
