Hi Alan! Many thanks as always for the great videos and the snippet of Numan music. I was amazed at how quickly the Blu-ray of Blake's 7 ended up at CEX! Eyeball has a very catchy earworm theme tune (for a Giallo) by Bruno Nicolai (called Red Cats) which can be found on YT in various versions. Take care!

Yep, who buys *Blakes 7* without knowing what it is or knows what it is but doesn't like the brilliant extras and clean-up they've added. I can only guess someone has ripped it to a hard drive and sold it on ASAP whilst the price CeX will give is high.

Great video as always Alan. Nice to hear a very short snippet of Me I Disconnect From You. Got quite a lot this week including some nice box sets during the Black Friday deals. Love the Merlin TV series, I think the reason for series' 4 and 5 on blu ray is that they were the ones done in HD, 1-3 were standard definition so I think DVD is fine for those ones. Take care mate. Nice one Alan. There is another release this week which is Galaxy Quest which is a 4K release which comes with a Blu Ray in a steelbook and also a collectors edition which I picked up from HMV online. I love animation and do want to check out Kensukes Kingdom.

I watched Godzilla Minus One and it's a very good film. There's also a black and white version of the film, which I haven't seen yet but I'm intrigued to check it out.

Hi Ariel, they used to have a lovely traditional Christmas tree in the mall (about five or more years ago) but they abandoned it for this modern glass triangle of shame 🤣 yeah no-one likes the mall’s decorations, even the local newspaper have been moaning about them 🧐 I’ve had a headache since Monday morning so I may have to switch back to caffeine 😬 yeah I’ve heard the Alien Steelbook is going for an extortionate price 😮shame on them (it is nice though 🤣) take care Ariel 👍😃👍

Hi Ariel, I went for a coffee today and had to get a caffeinated one as the headaches were starting to make my teeth ache…now the headache has disappeared so I’m definitely addicted to caffeine…..ah well 😁 I guess I’ll have to keep drinking the coffee… yeah traditional always works 100% every time, take care👍😃👍

Here we goooooo... let's see what, of the far too many titles released today, were in store! (I'd typed that before you said as much). Well if you like your *Dragon Ball Z* that set has you covered without working out which volumes go where... I'll be honest and say that for *Alien: Romulus* despite getting the steelbook, because I do when there's one available, on this occasion that slipcover glossing and image on the Amaray is _much_ nicer. *Godzilla Mius One* 4K steelbook (not the expensive set, just the steelbook) artwise is pretty much a draw so I'm happier there. I wnt for the _Zavvi_ exclusive 'glow in the dark slip' 4K steelbook for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ... apparently yje glow in the dark paint on the polythene slip is esy to damage even just taking off the J-card that's 'tacky glued' down... really worried about the age rating stickers as it may be another *Crow* situation where a lot of people damaged theirs, as the paint came with the sticker sometimes. Weirdly _Zavvi_ already have a totally different 4K steelbook exclusive design _already_ Lots of titles in there too I didn't really know about but (luckily) none _heavily_ appealed given the cost of the day already! I'm not sure what specifically attracted me to *Strange Darling* but something in the description did; most seemed to think it was really good though Jamie Powell was disappointed... we shall see! I'm still going with the CE versions of the *Doctor Who* sets... nicer looking IMO, though take up more space and certainly more expensive; too late to stop this far in though! I'm not sure if I should try *Black Phone* - but certainly not right now! I'll have to investigate *Psycho Pass* et al. and see how the series and the movies fit... all too often with anime they take a season of ten 25 minute episodes and re-edit it into 1.5 hours as a movie so it's easy to end up buying not only the same plot but exactly the same scenes, just edited together differently. The *Critters* box was the one that I wanted and would normally have ordered but the day was so expensive even I baulked at the bill of adding it. Oddly that slip version (the only difference) of *Attack of the Adult Babies* has always been significantly more as a second hand item because as it's limited... but I don't mind because I have it so I get an advantage if I sell it 😀 VERY quick to CeX for *Blakes 7* - unusual IMO given it probably only appeals to fans who know what it's about and the improvement over the DVD is significant. Do *NOT* get me started on the stupid decision to start *Doctor Who* at _Season One_ again because Disney have invested now and want to bring it to a new audience in the US who they believe will be put off if it says it's Season 14 because of the need to catch up... imagine if they said Season *_40_* and were worried new viewers would think they have to watch the previous 39 going back to 1963 🤣 *Drop Dead Fred* ... you had me at "Don't do it!"... the only film I've nearly walked out of the cinema whilst watching! *Red Eye* is on my Christmas List... I assume it hasn't got anything to do with the movie of the same name? I really keep meaning to watch *Body Double* - since your rear cover shot shows it has the same barcode as mine I'm guessing it's a simple re-release of the one that came out in 2017... must get the *Columbo* sets at some point. My purchases on top of what you showed were (as you mentioned) the Arrow 4K *Great Escape* which is the best of the 4K offerings out there as well as coming with the 3 hour sequel *Great Escape II: The Untold Story* (which is a movie, not a documentary which is how it sounds), *Black Cat 2* the two times (at least) delayed sequel to *Black Cat* which is a cross between Asian wirework martial arts, James Bond chases, a thriller to save Boris Yeltsin from a group of Russian assassins and a sci-fi twist involving the protagonist undergoing experiments to control her and control her rage (I know you wouldn't get on with the style but the trailer looks mad!) and, also mentioned, the *Galaxy Quest* 25th Anniversary 4K steelbook... No wonder I'm broke ahead of Christmas... I can say the word now it's December. Great video and pick-ups as always 👍

Hi Justin, thankfully I’ve never seen Dragon Ball Z 🧐 so what the eyes haven’t seen, the heart won’t grieve over 🫡 I love the slipcover on the new Alien Romulus movie (which I watched last night and will show on Monday) as with the Godzilla Minus One movie 🤔 ooh that’s a concern for collectors (regarding the paint coming off the slip of Beetlejuice 😮) I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first film, so I will eventually get the sequel when it’s drooped substantially in price. Yeah I saw Jamie was selling on Strange Darling (which did make me pause on picking it up) I agree, there’s no point buying an anime film if it’s just section from the show…🤔 the Critters set does look very nice in hand, ive not seen any of the movies so didn’t get it but if your a fan, then that’s definitely a nice box set to have 🙌 same with me and the slipped version of Attack Of The Adult Babies 🤣 (I’ve heard it’s utter drivel though) I completely missed Blake’s 7 when it aired, I know a lot of titles get stolen from Brighton’s HMV (they have bought back security tags) and they get sold on to CEX so maybe it’s the case with Blake’s 7 🤔 don’t worry, I won’t press you for more information on the Doctor Who but I think you covered it anyway 🤣 I’ve not seen Drop Dead Fred all the way through either 😮 I’m sure you will like Red Eye and no, it has nothing to do with the movie of the same name…yeah you probably have the limited edition of Body Double which would come with a booklet, this was release a while later (minus the booklet) it s fun one Justin…lots of T and A plus a strange bit with Franky Goes To Hollywood (almost a music video half way through the already bizarre movie) yeah I just had to get the Columbo second part release thingy…it was calling to me in my sleep 😁…nice pick ups Justin, yeah you need to stop looking for movies online and if you go to a HMV, wear blinkers (till Christmas) enjoy the rest of you week mate, take care👍😃👍

@@kermitsghost The US slip for *Alien Romulus* is apparently even better, not just spot glossing the face hugger but embossing it... hmmmm. I hear the same about *Attack of the Adult Babies* (ie. drivel) but it actually had potential if you are aware of what the fetish is about, I just don't think they captured any of that potential. Not sure which edition of *Body Double* I have, but I'll soon find out as it's on my watch pile... and my wife is away for 5 days (though if I don't start tidying for Christmas to a noticible extent, between watching Blu-rays, my life won't be worth living!) I really don't often go looking... they just find their way into my conciousness 😉

You said Beetlejuice three times 😮 Critters 3 an early appearance by Leonardo DiCaprio . The new seasons of Doctor Who no one’s interested in Disney’s influence ruined that series As far alien Romulus didn’t really care for it was really slow to me till like the middle of the movie I did however, like the end with the half human half alien hybrid, which is an actual college basketball player who couldn’t play basketball anymore because you were just too slow that alone is the interesting part of the movie

Columbo although dated is still very entertaining… yeah I can see why regarding g Body Double, the acting isn’t top notch but the story was so bizarre, it had me transfixed 😮 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
