Alan Morrison was my Grand uncle and yes there is such thing as a grand Uncle. It’s not a great Uncle but a grand Uncle. Alan wanted the blue angels to be more open to the public towards the end but they’ve come back to their roots of violence and crime, something he detested later on in life.

Nomads still exist, but not like they used to. I respect the Blues in as much as they are a real bike gang of pretty mental guys who have made society their bitch in many ways lol but I think all the support 21 guys are fannies. I respect the Nomads more than support 21. You're either a club or your not. The Blues certainly have dominated for a good while. Hats off to em.

After the Battle of Curlers Bar the whole of Byres Road was declared a combat free zone. The Maryhill Fleet and the Blue Angles both frequented the area but kept a lid on the fisticuffs ( glassings and stabbings really). As he said, bad for business.

In 2002 I ended up in a bar with 40+ of these, needless to say things didn't go well, could have been worse but TBH the guy I was fighting with was so drunk he could throw a decent punch, odd thing is 6 months later in got £1000 from the criminal injuries compensation board even though no was arrested, I didn't make a complaint or a statement, because it happened in a licenced public house and the manager made a statement about it I got money, fact stranger than fiction at times, often,

Iv heard off some guys that there lifes are being bikers have there own events charity.. music even animals snakes and beautiful birds of prey .. but the elders spoke about how younger blue angles have turned up demanding money.. intimidating people but luckily this guy grew up and new elders that were involved in the blue angles they respected him.. said OK makesure it won't happen again.. but he just said the new breed some just use the badge as a way to bully .. but don't always relise who it is there bullying or who might be involved they can be a pain in the arse the young ones .. this guy was in his mid 50s that was nearly 10yr ago.. but he wasn't a fan but got on with the older lot from the 80s or early 90s

Went to a bar in Dundee a few years back,the Blue Angels were having a night out there,i have to say that we weren't made to feel unwelcome and had a good night and a laugh. When we went in my mate shat himself tho,he was a Mod back in the day 😂

Big Paul from S.Africa had just moved out, when I first got to know him, met him through a girl, she went to the 40th anniversary with him but she has passed. He is some man, there was a possibility of prospecting but my life didn't go that way! If you are talking to him mention Gordon. Moodiesburn and give him my respects.

@@davidcruickshank2696I'm pleased to hearing Lenny is fine and hopefully remains good for a very long time. Although he is one of the quiet one's along with Alan M when they came to setonsands n Port Seton I had a laugh with many of them, John, Sammy, the stone, etc. I remember when we had a booze up on the boat and set the stone overboard on what I think was my bus inner tube in the middle of the Forth. Fortunately for me I placed tyres fenders over sides of boat so we could get back on after we were thrown each other off for laughs, Unfortunately, a lovely drunken local heard we had booze aboard and "borrowed a boat" and boarded us on the blind side, the result was he stupidity started the engine whilst I was near the stern trying to get back on. I just about sh-t myself and just managed to grab hold of a tyre and climb aboard before being chopped up with prop. I looked over the sea and there was the stone drifting far away safely without a care in the world. ❤ 😂 Just bliss all of them except one. Thanks for all the great memories.

i used to occasionally have a beer in curlers,the bottom bar was where you would find blue angels drinking,was also at one of their crazy partys in a big old run down house in glasgows west end,there were others there like me,basically gate crashed,but anarchic atmosphere,with blue angels graffitti everywhere,there were scary dudes there,but there was a electric guitar there and amp,and heavy metal music pumping out,i played a bit of rock guitar,they were impressed and kind of treated you a bit differently,even reverentially lol got talking to one in the front room,obviously one of the higher up guys,and he was very intelligent and level headed,compared to some of the others,probably why he was one of the main guys,its sort of like,if he gives you the go ahead,then you are ok with the others,that was way back in the 80s
