If one actually went through the Game Development Department storyline, at some point, Arisu-chan acquired the railgun from the Millennium's Engineering Department, in which they said in their own words, made for use with the galatic battleship; imagine the finished product if they actually managed to build it(too bad they couldn't, since it has already cost them approximately 70% of their budgets.... ) Topics related to railguns remains one of the hottest to this day, and we always love to see railguns of many shapes and sizes, video games and movies included.

Realy cool having some unreal guns in the game. The Supernova reminds me of the gauss cannon from Doom (2016), with the same color scheme. I do believe, however, that the Gauss cannon is a coilgun (like the Gauss rifles/pistols from the fallout series). Also Charge is stored in the Aris

Gauss Cannon is indeed one of the coolest guns after the railgun, without a doubt. And speaking of which, there's Gauss Rifle in Crysis 2 and 3 as well.

I've been waiting for this review. The capacity and and output is unmatched. Too big, too thick, and too heavy to call a gun. It was more like a large refrigerator.

that depends whether it actually shoot solid projectile or not. We will never know, but let's assume it actually does. I doubt BA dev team made a mistake on this since they does seem to have gun nerds in the team.

You could also launch plasma with a railgun, so it could be both a plasma and railgun. Plasma in fiction dosent tend to penetrate though
