We loved having a table on the water, checked off a Disney bucket list item for us! The singer / music out on the boat on the water were really good, loved that they were doing something to enhance the New Orleans vibe! Thanks for watching friends, hope you're having a great weekend!

We really wanted to eat at the blue bayou last year but we were unable to get a reservation. The ambience looks so cozy and amazing! Love that pirates goes right through it. Even better you got the perfect place to sit! The gumbo looks sooo good. And the fritters (with the heat lol!) The fish looks really lovely in presentation. I think I would enjoy the Cajun sauce. Oh the petit filet looks amazing. Gruyère mashed potatoes 😮 yum! I love crème brûlée but it does need a lot of crunch top I agree. Oh my goodness the boat barge with the musicians is amazing 😊 love those Disney moments 🥰 thanks for sharing with us! Another great review! 😊💕

Went there with my extended family. Lucky enough to get reservations that day and again lucky enough to be seated at the water. Was really cool. Food was excellent

We are planning a trip for this Sept and also have OBB tickets for the same night as the dining reservation. Would it be ok for us to wear our costumes that night to this restaurant?

How did you special request the waterside table?

When you arrive for your reservation time to check-in, you can just ask at the check-in counter if you can wait to be seated at a waterside table. You may have to wait a little past your scheduled reservation time, but they've always been great to accommodate our request.

We have only eaten at Blue Bayou once and were lucky enough to sit at the water. Since Pirates is my all time fav ride it was amazing. I loved waving to people on the rides lol. I do feel like they are too over priced for not mind blowing food.

Pirates is one of our favorites too, we loved sitting by the water and watching the boats go by! I agree on the price point, you're definitely paying for the ambiance!
