BLUE BAYOU RESTAURANT DISNEYLAND (Our First Time)

This is our quest to get reservations to eat at The Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland, on the same day!!! Yes, we are crazy, and we should have had reservations, but we didnt, and this is how we finessed it, and how you can to.
Besides eating dinner at the beautiful Blue bayou Cafe with waterside seats, we also get some staple items in the New Orelans Square; Mickey Beignets and Mint Julep. mmm Food.
We also had a great time throughout the park killing time waiting for our standby reservation to come through. We also ran into some friends that live near us, which is wild because we live over 6 hours away from Disneyland :)

When did you go? Winter coats just for splash mountain?? Wondering what to pack for evenings next month

This was from early 2020 right before shut down. California can get cold in the evenings, in summer time you should be good w a hooded sweatshirt but you might want more from winter nights. The park is open till midnight (normally, not sure on covid hours) and they dont kick you out till 1am, so it can get chilly. But also of youre from somewhere much colder, maybe it wont bother you? We think 60 is cold lol
