Blue-capped rock thrush (Monticola cinclorhyncha) Female
This Himalayan bird is found at an altitude of 1300 to 2200 meters. The size is 17 cm, male has a blue head, chin and throat. The upper parts are blue and black. The rump and underparts are chestnut brown. The females are dark brown above and finely barred white below. They are omnivorous, eating a wide range of insects, berries and small reptiles.
