Ptoject FIKA is SPT CooP. SPT has CooP but not supported by the main devs. its a mod for SPT made by other people. And it is NOT served on the SPT website since the SPT devs don't support CooP for legal reasons.

Advice that you definitely didn’t ask for so apologies lol: Definitely upload to this channel. Tarkov has a long lifespan but you’re a talented creator who shouldn’t be tied to any one property. Space out other games for a while, like do a non tarkov vid every three-four videos, then increase the rate as you become noticed in other games, atleast that’s how got away from iceberg videos. SPT does have multiplayer, but not officially. The devs are against it, but there's "the other mods" as people refer to it commonly. MPT / Fika (same thing, just rebranding) allows you to install it as a mod for SPT, and enables multiplayer connection. The host runs the server as normal, and other clients just open the launcher without opening their own aki.server. Just have to change like 2-3 fields containing the IP you want to play off (usually local host, you change this to the IP of the host if they either port forward / host via VPN.) It's very simple to set up and we're able to use basically all the mods we want alongside it. I'd highly recommend checking this one out if you want to chill on pve tarkov with some friends without dealing with BSG's... whatever it is. We also tried SiT, or Stay in Tarkov. It's an entirely different client to SPT, we weren't super impressed but it's *functional.* There's a community dedicated to converting mods from SPT to SiT but it's a small work force, definitely a niche in a niche.

Fika's main dev is a former SiT dev, he started the project due to restrictions made by the orginal dev of SiT and Fika is now the default way to play SPT Co-op.

Been running a private fika SPT server for a friend group for a few weeks now with zero issues. Full mod support (SPT has amazing mods). Fika has very helpful features for new players such as the ability to disable friendly fire and show nametags over friendly players heads. The fact that people don't know about it, and instead feel the need to spend $250 to have a very sub-par experience is horrible.

the lack of wipes is my main draw to pve, i simply dont have the time to get quests done, so i've been stuck just doing the same few first quests with my friends every wipe, so its nice to have a way to play tarkov that feels like im progressing when i can put a little time in, without fear of it all being for nothing.

SPT took me out of regular Tarkov when I learned that in SPT I can queue for Factory and load into the map in literally 8 seconds. The PvE mode having such long queues for singleplayer is just ridiculous honestly. Host the server on the player's PC in that instance.

What I love about PVE is that it encourages the player to play tactically and realistically. In online, aggression and meta/unrealistic builds are rewarded, while in PvE, hastiness and uncarefulness are punished.

Another win for SPT is the SAIN mod. This mod has multiple "personalities" for PMC AIs ranging from rat to gigachad. I have had PMC AI push me, jump in the air past a door and mag dump at me with m995. I have stomped into crackhouse to immediately be gunned down by the 5th man in a group of PMCs waiting in the corner camping the bodies...Best part, you can adjust the difficulties from a macro to a micro level!

I'm too busy with work and school to play Tarkov, and couldn't even keep up with the game's wipes when I didn't have to do all of that, (highest level I've been is 14) many years ago. But this PvE mode has brought back all the fun of the game I had once and it was great! The AI PMC's need some tweaking though, they instantly head-eyes from like 200m too often, and don't count concealment when shooting, so some areas are guaranteed death if you accidentally end up in a bad position while the PMC squad rolls by Otherwise a lot of fun! I was actually thinking of seeing when you'd drop a video as soon as I heard news of it coming out, glad to see if right after work too!

This explains my problem with Tarkov perfectly. To get good enough to be competitive, you really need to spend a TON of hours, and I simply don't have the time. By the time the wipe comes, I am roughly level 25 or so even if I start playing day of the wipe, and that's been the case since Tarkov first came out, and yes, I can only play roughly every second or third wipe.. Coming home from working a 12 hour shift at the mill, and immediately getting killed the first 5 minutes of every raid by some sweatlord that's unemployed and plays for 12 hours a day really wasn't fun. With this said, I already own the game, I won't be buying an upgrade to get PvE mode, if they don't make it available to everyone, then I am simply done with Tarkov.

Allow me to introduce SPT :) It's 100% offline, you can even play it without internet. You can mod it to be whatever you want, and it never wipes unless you make it wipe. You could stay on the current version of the game for the next 5 years if you wanted to. I've been playing it for a week now, and I don't think I can go back. There's even a co-op mod so you can play with your friends. A quick google search will give you everything you need.

1:50 as someone who has consistently gotten above level 40 each wipe in PVP tarkov(i dont bother with kappa, i have a gamma and its good enough), i actually have enjoyed Blue Collar Tarkov because Tarkov itself is infested with cheaters and rats and my time IS limited so its nice to know i'm not going to be 360 no scoped by a dude flying around with cheats(I have literally ran into floating hackers multiple times in raid) and its refreshing to be able to play quests with my homies without having to bum rush everything and rush through the experience to get the best loot and actually play slowly and methodically to work our way to the location instead. i also feel more rewarded by playing this way instead of rushing everything and chadding it out with level 6 plates in the most un-tactical way possible that you have to do to get the upper hand on other players. It's nice to have the option instead of being forced to. It's also nice knowing that at any given moment some dick canoe isn't staring at me through a scope 5 miles away looking for his shooter born kills. I get it, it's part of the game, it may even be realistic, but it's not fun. I particularly don't like doing the quest either, despite having done it multiple times. Much prefer medium/cqb type fights for the fun and rush than waiting 6 years for some guy to show up to get a shot for a jaeger quest.

One thing I've done in SPT is elongate the missions. I simply went into the files and added a 1 onto the start of every raid timer so now every raid is roughly two hours long. I'm done having to race through and can leave at my leisure. And thanks to SWAG and Donuts mod, the world is constantly being populated so I don't have to worry about empty maps even if I'm in Streets for over an hour.

He works really crappy hours and had no chance to grind so he was always behind the rest of the wave. The second he heard of PVE he got back on. I definitely noticed the weird PMC/Scav interactions on a few occasions. On factory as a scav, I watched Tagilla run around everywhere but where a PMC was, I hear the USEC voice line, Tagilla runs around offices, Bathrooms, and does a lap around the map. On Ground Zero with the swarming, I could not get to my objective building, the wine store. I was surrounded by Scavs and PMCs. I was pinned on the ramp across from the vehicle extract between the two buildings. I ran out of meds but managed to get to the extract. The next raid, I get into the wine store, but kept getting shot and pushed by Scavs while trying to look for the bottle. There were scavs and PMCs outside sometimes chillin, sometimes fighting, but never consistent. I ended up not finding the bottle and making another miraculous extract after getting down to my last mag and no meds again.

Heres the best thing about PvE. When I die.. I know I died legitly. When there is a 100% chance that a cheater is in every raid (which it is), then the online game is done for most people.. its a scam of a game, more like a Carnival game.. its meant to play and lose.. its that simple. Just play PvE, and have fun with the game, like all games are supposed to be.

Note yes you can co-op in the spt mod, you always could. the other person just directs themselves to your ip/sni and boom they’re there. The mod more or less just a private server. The old (now defunct) JET branch had a ‘fun time’ server that was more or less just a private server running a shit ton of mods. AI performance has a lot to do with server performance. In the mod you’ll notice that they’re pretty fucking scary to fight if you keep everything ‘as in raid’ since you’re running that server way more efficiently than bsg can. You see this in a lot of other games. They also seem to have it set to their own internal highest level, based on experience with offline raid mode.

@@collin3012 so, BSG being registered on the UK means that they abide by their IP laws, which means that being a mod doesn't automatically discredit it (unlike Nintendo which benefits from Japanese IP law being a lot less consumer friendly). The nuance here is that as a purely standalone single player experience, there wasn't any way for BSG to argue that it was competition to EFT, whereas officially recognizing co-op could technically make it a competitor and threaten their bottom line, which gives BSG more leeway to potentially threaten, which is often enough to push people away from a project.

This is why I love SPT since even in multiplayer the queue time is only restricted by the players loading in using the multiplayer hosting function. Also, they PMC bots in SPT are so much better since you can give them personalities, and you can expand the patrol routes of AIs.

As a married father of three with a very busy work schedule I am loving PvE Tarkov. After losing my first and only Kappa to a wipe a couple years ago I dropped the game because I couldn’t be bothered to grind it all over again just knowing I’d lose it again. Being able to play the game at my own pace and know my progress with stick around is the best feature of the mode. Love it.

"Blue collar Tarkov" player is the perfect term for someone like me that has very little time to invest on games and don't want to deal with cheaters every raid. I still chose to play spt because: - I have no friends to play Tarkov, so no use for multiplayer features - I'm terrible at fps games although loving them so the idiotic AI is still a pretty hard challenge for me lol - spt features many mods that enable me to customize the game even more to my tastes and skill level.

Just a correction on the SPT Co-op stuff, the devs of SPT are now recognising that it's something people want, and advise looking for mods like Stay In Tarkov and Project FIKA, which are both full co-op mods.

SPT has multiplayer functionality as other comments have already stated. I just wanted to chime in and say that the only two advantages that PvE Mode has going for it so far is: 1. No local resources are spent running the AI in your games. This saves you a mountain of performance because BSG's servers will be conducting the AI and doing all the calculations, not your own system as it is in SPT. However, MPT allows you to subvert this advantage by having another computer host the SPT/MPT server and perform all the calculations to conduct the AI. You'll have to deal with P2P latency if you're trying to play with friends, and deal with P2P security issues if you're hosting it publicly. 2. Game updates are immediate as opposed to waiting for the SPT devs to research and reiterate for the next wipe's patch. However, this is a double-edged sword. Not everyone wants to update right away, and not everyone especially wants their progress wiped at the hands of BSG since it's PvE (although I do not know if they will wipe, which is also a double-edged sword in itself because some people would want to reset their progress on-demand or have multiple profiles for something like a Rags-to-Riches run). I'm personally still running patch 0.13 which is before the Ground Zero release and Shoreline rework, mainly because I didn't want to update right away so that the modders can update their packages, and because I don't have a lot of time to spend playing Tarkov but also didn't want to lose all the progress I made -- updating major patches can cause a lot of issues if you use your existing profiles from the previous major patch, including losing stuff from your stash. So to boil it all down, PvE mode doesn't really have any advantages at all.

"WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SCAVS?" Because it makes it more fun. Literally one of the most fun raids I've had since I started playing was when I was stuck in the Green Screen building on Customs and every time I was done killing something and went to med or reload mags within 10 seconds I heard more scavs show up. Shit was wild.

Yea, but theres a point where it turns from fun to chore. And expending ALL my ammo off spawn can start to push it into chore especially if I cant repack a single mag before their pissed off siblings are chanting more russian witchcraft at me. I don't mind alot spawning, but they do need to at least spawn in waves, or far enough apart not to be some continual train like im on kino der toten.

And maybe don't spawn bosses too, my friend was killed because Killa just spawn behind them in a already cleared Brutal shop

I like this description of tarkov, that PVE mode is blue collar tarkov. I work a full 8-hour job as well as help take care of the family cattle farm, so the amount of time I get to spend playing games eight varies wildly depending on time of year and b is just a lot less than when I was in school. So because of that, it makes playing tarkov difficult, because I can't clock the same amount of time as everybody else seems to be able to. And I know that inherently I'm kind of bad at the game, but I still enjoy it, so having the PVE mode allows me to play tarkov and not feel like I'm behind everybody else

SPT has a mod called Project Fika that allows you to open your SPT server for other clients - essentially, multiplayer singleplayer Tarkov. It works amazingly. My friends and I have been playing it a lot recently, its super easy to set up and we can run all the mods we want to customize the experience to our own desires (even on each client, ie our newer friend uses radar while the rest of us have it disabled). The absolute best part, imo, is the fact that I can just leave the server running for my friends to jump on and play whenever they want.

As someone who experienced SPT a couple of months before official PvE launched, I wanted to clarify a couple of things that you left out while talking about it, if people are curious about SPT: - You CAN play SPT online, it's just hard to figure out how because in the official forums like reddit and such, it's prohibited to talk about it for reasons you can probably guess. But if you dig a little bit, it's not that hard to find out how. I did it and it works great, also pretty easy to setup. - A BIG advantage that PvE has over SPT is the updates. As an example I'll use my own experience. When I started playing SPT, Ground Zero and the update for Shoreline were the latest releases in the live Tarkov. At that point I had to play the old version in SPT because they can take up to months to update SPT, depending on how complex the updates are. - Events is another advantage for PvE. - The biggest advantage that SPT has over PvE is the customization, the mod community is incredible and you can tune pretty much everything. You don't like the AI? you can tune it to make it behave differently. You want extra stuff in your HUD? It can be done. Live Tarkov removing the fog came from one of the most popular mods of SPT, which did exactly that. BSG said mod support will come to PvE, but we already know the value of BSG words at this point. Considering those points, it's a matter of which of these points are most important for each player.

The only thing I don't like about PVE is the infinite scavs that spawn on every map. I had to push through 45 scavs just to do some streets quests. I prefer PVE compared to PVP right now due to all of the cheaters in the game right now unfortunately.

Just download SPT. Installing it is super easy and there's mods that let you set up exactly how many scavs you want to be spawned and at what intervals.

I always wanted to play Tarkov but was always deterred by the sweats and the rampant hacker plague. The mechanics are cool and is genuinely a really impressive game. Now that PvE is available I've been having a blast playing with my friends and having them coaching me through the game since it was my first time playing. I've heard you talk about how there are so many Scavs that spawn but honestly when playing with a full group you get that "Black Hawk Down" Moment when a bunch of scavs start rushing us. PvE has been a really good addition so far that has finally scratched the 'tarkov itch' that other games I've played haven't quite got for me. I can already feel the gamblers spirit rising within lmao.

im actually having a blast playing PVE tarkov. i was given the unheard edition from a buddy because i refused to purchase it myself. turns out I would have 100% bought it. i love the persistent progression. i myself work 84 hour weeks and seldom do I have time off to grind any game let alone tarkov which wipes every 6 months. im actually close to maxing out all my traders for the FIRST TIME EVER. SPT bans your account and is too tedious for me to set up blah blah blah. i do love PVE mode. i dont like the shorten raid timers though...

SPT doesn't get your account banned. And I wish people would stop spreading this Misinformation. The only thing that would get your account banned is if you fucked with EFT's Live build files. Which SPT does not do. SPT's Installer Copies and changes files into a SEPARATE. FOLDER. That doesn't interact with the Live Tarkov AT ALL. It's also stupid easy to set up and even mod. - Download SPT installer. - Make a folder called SPT where ever you want the game installed. - Put installer in that folder. Run the installer. - It asks for 4 Checkmarks to be green. - Install. Boom. Done. And Putting in mods is literally as simple as. Download. Extract into SPT folder. Done.

You're utterly wrong about "SPT bans your account and is too tedious for me to set up blah blah blah". 1) No, your account won't be banned 2) No it is not tedious to set up, it's just as "complicated" as installing regular Escape From Tarkov 3) You can adjust the raid timers to your liking 4) If you do play Co-Op with your buddy who bought it for you, you can also do that in SPT, with the added fun of mods. 5) SPT has *significantly* better AI - like light years ahead of what current PVE Tarkov has. Not trying to throw shade at you, just mentioning some facts and correcting your wrong statements.

Don't have SPT and normal tarkov running at the same time and you won't get banned. That would be the only way BSG would know otherwise

Your boy wasted money, and you would have too. You should have just gotten SPT. It's superior to live EFT's coop mode in every way. And there is a coop mod for it too called Project FIKA, so live EFT doesn't even have a monopoly on that aspect. What truly makes SPT shine is the mods; anything you can think of, there is likely a mod for it. For real, you've been made a fool of by whoever made you believe that SPT gets you banned or that it's a hassle to set up. That's a blatant falsehood. I've been switching between SPT and live EFT (go back for wipes and new content updates) for about 2 years now and haven't been banned. Setting up SPT was as easy as downloading the installer into an empty folder and then launching it. Setting up mods for SPT is also the easiest modding I have ever done for a game, and I have been modding games like Fallout for years.

SPT DOES have the ability to play co-op. There's a couple mods to accomplish this. Me and a friend have been playing with Fika, one of those mods, for weeks now with very few issues.

All of my friends are playing on SPT, but I'm just too paranoid to play it. The fact it isn't officially supported, and is a bit dubious in regards to legality with coop mods, means I just simply don't trust it. So many people keep telling me "it's fine" or "something something local server undetectable blah blah blah", I just keep seeing a future where BSG cracks down on unofficial modding ahead of their own modding release, and everyone who ever had SPT installed gets hardware banned. Likely? Probably not. But possible? Yes. So I'm not taking that risk at all.

SPT does in fact have a co-op mod for it, although it's not as simple as modding other files with a drag-drop mechanic. It's also not endorsed by the SPT Devs. The mods are what makes SPT so fun. SAIN's AI mod alone changed the entire gameplay and makes it actually feel like you're playing against INTELLIGENT AI. And you have the ability to customize how all of the AI works individually to make it has easy or punishing as you want it to be. The AI actually (mostly) reacts and moves like players do. From sprinting away from you if they feel like they don't have the advantage in a fight, to quite literally crab-walking up on you while you're looting. They also have a tendency to rush you if they hear you pull out a grenade or start healing. There's also a mod that changes the spawns of all AI, so they can spawn in their normal spots, but also anywhere on the map. Making it a lot more RNG. No more, oh it's customs I know EXACTLY where all the AI PMC's are sitting. And they actually get into intense gun battles on the opposite side of the map. It really feels like the map is alive.

About coop, there is a mod for coop in SPT, that works quite well and doesnt require a 250$ version of the game. You should really make a video about SPT at some point.

Just built my first gaming pac this month just to play tarkov. Got 3 raids in on PVP and got murdered each time. Bought PVE and boy-o-boy I’m in love. I work as a mechanic (10-12 hour days) and PVE is literally blue collar tarkov so you’re right on the money on that one bud.

glad someone spoke about it, I am stuck on quests on reserve, lighthouse and woods and I DESPISE all those maps, playing alone there is no fun, so I just go to play PvE when I'm alone and I have succesfully learned navigating on woods that way (even if only a bit), I have made a lot of progress on doing start quests alone, I have learned to use other weapons than those I use know, I have learned to use grenades once in a while if it won't end on getting cooked by a fucker with 5k hours and 20 k/d, learned not to take every single piece of loot if I don't need to and I could succesfully do quests like fishing gear completely alone. I played last wipe, but it was painfull due to turbo sweats and cheaters, since I got PvE I could just genuinly chill out on that game without fear that I'll lose my entire gear in one raid because some cheater dipshit just sniped me from across the map with his DVL and 41 lvl on day 3 of wipe, I like PvP more due to the idea that against AI you won't learn how to outplay much, but AI is very forgiving compared to players, like you said, you picked 3 PMCs and slipped away because they didn't agro yet, and I love this, it's a great way to simply chill on that game instead of losing your mind while doing bunker part 2 or any other reserve quests and meeting either a rat, a cheater or a glukhar because why the fuck not (yes, I'm saying it out of experience)

I've really enjoyed it. Knowing I won't have to grind some of those quests again (unless I choose to join a wipe in the future) is a good feeling. Getting access to some content I never could earlier will be great too - lightkeeper and such. If they keep working on it, it will be awesome I think. I've also really enjoyed playing it with a few of guys I used to play pvp with. Much more chill. Zero cheaters too.

As a soldier PVE mode is so useful. Ive been gone for training for a while but when I get back its not like im gonna be 3 months behind wipe, im able to pick up and play like I never left and im genuinely looking forward to getting back and just relaxing for a day or two

There's actually a mod for Spt that allows you to kinda do a co-op with friends, its not that lengthy of a setup too, its called 'project fika'. It's not created directly from the creators of spt but the community around it and i find it so much more fun than what I have in actual tarkov.

Me and a buddy were doing a shoreline raid, and we went to Pier for one of the marker quests. As we arrived we heard yelling of PMCs, so we started nading to flush them out. There were a total of 3 BEARs, 3 USECs, and 4 Scavs all inside the pier house. Each Scav had a 5.56 weapon and UN Gear on (Helmet and/or Armor). Not sure if this kind of thing was intended, but it felt like we interrupted an arms deal or something, felt really cool. Also, nuts having 10 AI to fight in a small building lol

The whole reason I got back into Tarkov was for the PVE mode, I can actually enjoy the game without having to deal with the issue of being too late for the wipe. I just dont have the time to grind like I did when Tarkov first came out so PVE was an amazing edition for us blue collar boys

I fucking love PVE man. Like I just really really love shooting guns in Tarkov, that's my biggest draw to the game. I like the looting/survival aspects too but the gunplay is the main reason I love the game. And being able to just load up PVE Customs or Interchange to fight a massive scav zombie horde without having to worry about some guy in a bush 500m away sniping me and making me lose all my shit is awesome.

As formerly avid SPT player, I can say the thing that I liked most about it was the local hosting, because my internet kind of suck even at my house, let alone when I have to travel to a different country every 2 weeks for work purposes... Unfortunately, I really haven't been feeling it for months now and have only jumped in to see the snow maps for a short 20-30 hours and then just haven't gone back.

Im sure someone has already said it but SPT has a mod for it self called FIKA that includes a bunch of QOL stuff and also and it plays flawless and under a minute to get into a raid if you are new and want a casual game fika has a compass that points you to exits and quests as well as nameplates for your friends and a friendly fire toggle so you dont smoke your buddies.

I've found on woods, between saw mill and med camp there's usually two to four pmc's that wander between those points and sniper rock in the fields

One thing in PvE I noticed is that PMCs do kill scavs.. if they wander within smelling distance. I've seen this kind of scenario multiple times: Scav stands around, PMC runs next to it, yells "bandit sighted" and mows the scav down, meanwhile me, another scav, stand 10 feet away from the now dead body having a staring competition with the PMC. I can just walk away, I can have the first shot, or I can walk closer to the PMC at which point he will open fire. So yes, if you play as Scav, it's almost far too easy to kill PMCs cos they aggro you at 5 meters away, not at 200 meters.

I stoped playing tarkov a few months ago because I didn't have the time to play it 5 hours a day. Then I started playing SPT. Then my friends started playing SPT. Then we discovered Stay in Tarkov which is a coop mod for SPT. Now we play Tarkov for like 1-2 hours daily and sometimes 12 hours on weekends. We have fun. No cheaters, no sweats, intelligent ai, intense fights that carry on for more than 3 secconds. I like Stay in Tarkov.

Honestly I went over to spt and haven’t looked back, to go against the point of being bad and moving to pve, I was on pace for getting kapa about halfway through the full wipe but after their shenanigans I went to spt The amount you can customize and change the difficulty it’s amazingly done

Blue Collar tarkov was the best addition ever, I work 12 hr shifts back to back alot of weeks and with the little time I can gather at the end of the day I'm able to sit down without fear of losing a bunch of gear to giga squads or hackers! They will have to make some obvious changes in the future but I think this really is going to be one of the features that most players will buy tarky for, only downside is that they would continue to charge a ridiculous price for it.

For me, PVE has higher highs and the same soul-crushing lows as PVP tarkov. I have played PVP for over 4 years and, while I have gotten boss kills, I have never once killed a boss and survived to extract with their loot....Until PVE mode. Tagilla, Shturman, and Reshala so far. I've even wiped the goon squad and successfully extracted with their loot (and no, so far none of my boss kills have been because of bad AI coding or because they were glitched). The pure adrenaline and giddiness of those successful raids for me has been more potent than any experience I've had in the original PVP tarkov. I still get very frustrated and die 10+ raids in a row losing all my money and kits and having to go back to grub runs in PVE, but I also don't experience the truly toxic and negative side of PVP like the cheaters and the rats. And like you mentioned, questing is SO much better. I've been able to complete quests that I have never been able to complete in normal tarkov before, like Setup, grenadier, and a lot of the Punisher quest line. the worst part of tarkov was always the other players, because for some reason (internet anonymity?) 95% of any multiplayer game's player-base plays to RUIN the game for everyone else and be as toxic as they possibly can. Removing them from the equation has made PVE tarkov FAR better than PVP tarkov and rekindled my love for the OG loot & shoot. Edit: Also, I've never been able to put in the unholy amount of hours needed to get to endgame gear, as I've had life, work, school, and other obligations that kept me from playing Tarkov for 1.5months straight with zero sleep like 90% of the community seems to (seriously....how the fuck do you get to end game and level 60 in 1-2 weeks?), so having a mode that doesn't wipe every 4-9 months means I finally have a chance to do more than MAYBE hit level 30ish and get level 3 traders and about 1/3rd of the quests done.

ive been doing PVE tarkov for a while now doing a zero to hero run. NEVER GO TAGGED AND CURSED YOU WILL DIE but you can actually do quests without worrying about cheaters/rats/extract campers. all in all i find it to be pretty fun.
