Blue Devils 2015 DCI Show-Ink Brass + Battery Score Transcription *Updated* 9.0*

Fixed! The battery is incomplete but underway! Credit to Andrew_acton for the battery part in our collaberation! Thanks to jose taco for reference on his score! This is the most accurate transcription out there. It sounds great so far, comment below to let me know of any fixes I could add or anything! I also occasionally post on KZbin!

This is actually on old version! Im adding front ensemble and fixing the battery and brass a ton. Its in the link in the description on my Musescore. I use regular soundfont actually, just I mix the euphonium and baritone parts are the highs and lows together since the blue devils march a Hybrid Euph-Bari system blue. It makes a rich, thick low brass sound. If you are looking for a sound font to purchase, I highly recommend the Blue Devils fanfare software by system blue, with system blue brass and percussion. Its pricey but practically a steal for what you'll earn by arranging for a show. Thanks alot, I try my best to give the best sounds :) Cheers man

All regular! But since the system blue low brass use Hybrid Euph-Bari's, I have both Euph and bari parts stacked together playing and i just hide one of the instruments. Cheers dude

What is that little sign, that's made up of two lines, called before the double G in the lead trumpet part, and what should one do when trying to play it? I'm referring to measure 435, or the 10:30 mark.

I believe it was originally a 16th grace note flare/pick up into the screaming G, but got altered somehow. You should play either an F/ F# as the grace note quickly into the double G. Good eye, and I hope this helps!

Great job! I do transcriptions too, If you could check mine out as well that would be sick! One small change, something sounds off about the lead trumpet at 1:02 . I think the last note of that small part is sharp(?) I’m not too sure, it just sounds a little off. Other than that amazing work! I can understand how much time these take and you did great at it!

So to fix that, go to instruments, click on where it says common instruments and change it to all instruments and it will give you a gallore of new instruments. Just head to the marching percussion section. Sorry for the late responce and I hope this has helped!

In musescore, go to instruments (shortcut: Ctrl + i), then click the top drop down that says "Common Instruments", and change it to 'All instruments'. So when you go through your instruments, you will find a gallore of a variety of different Instruments, including :Marching Percussion". I believe he has them written as musescore's version of buzzes which is sort of a parallelogram note head
