I honestly like this series. Although, the only negative I have is not being able to keep up with the subtitles.. (course it was when I was really young and was still new to subbed anime) But I'm sure I'll be able to keep up no problem now!

My god this takes me back... This was the first anime I've ever watched (about 5 yrs ago). I can never forget this beautiful anime and the beautiful soundtrack that followed it. It's really hard to find anime nowadays like this one

This video tells me about the anime in terms of two totally different people, one human and one alien and how they came to love one another, to the point where one sacraficed her life for the other, though it's tragic.

Blue Drop holds a very special place in my heart, mostly because it's the first subbed anime I ever watched online and therefore pretty much the first non-kiddy one. While after having it rewatched twice by now I have to admit it's got a lot of flaws and might objectively be pretty average, it's got a certain type of atmosphere to it and characters you can't help but care for. Also the ending is just...just...brilliant. No wonder I get teary eyed whenever I hear either this or Tsubomi. :,]

This anime was literally the first anime I've ever watched. I still think back to the days when I was watching this anime. The song was soo touching and the anime... well all I can say is that this song is a work of art. Tears in my eyes right now as we speak... The lyrics are so powerful that I just cant hold my feelings for this song in anymore!

Mangadex,There is two Blue drop mangas that are worth reading, rest is pure trash. First is Blue Drop- Maiorita Tenshi. Its seven years after the war, and it tells about one of the Gosta(Girls that blow themselfs up). Its good and it came originally with the dvd as a bonus. So read that first. Then read manga simply called Blue Drop(Its the original). It has 5 different stories(Kaminoko,Kowareta Tenshi, Kaijin, Tenshi no Yakusoku, Tenshi no Sentaku) I think all of them are after 1000 years after the war and they reveal quite bit from the lore. So i highly recommend it. (not sure if all of those stories were 1000 years after, because its some time when i read.) Remember to read them right to the left. Also that original Blue drop reveals plot hole or two from the anime. Like that the Arume girls could not reproduce, but actually Arume`s can reproduce between two females. There is also couple other Blue drop mangas, but WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THOSE, as they are pure garbage, and im not overreacting. Reading them most likely ruin the universe completely for you. ITS frigging unbelievable how bad they are, plot are awful, makes 0 sense scientifically(or any other way) and has no character development and has shitty cure your gays theme. I still cant believe how the author managed to write so bad stories, buts thats what happens when you dont do any research and plan the universe when writing on scifi.
