Well I do... Tho not only to blue eyes... I just like doing vanilla decks... Only cards related to them and some generic magic/trap cards to fill the 40 deck count. I don't put unrelated monsters even in my extra deck. It kinda hurts to me when people run different archetypes in one deck. If I kinda set up a combo (probably not the combo up to the meta standards... Regardless a combo), I kinda feel good... Considering every meta deck to day has fking negate everyday. So yeah. Yeah newb I know

As a Blue-Eyes player, definitely should’ve A. READ your opponent’s cards (regardless of familiarity) B. Make the deck balanced out without having to resort to the same boss monster thinking one boss can beat all (when that’s not the case) C. When in doubt, double up on defense D. Prepare for meta decks (like Rokket is more meta than Blue-Eyes, sadly)

Yeah no, that was an 'on auto' player, not a blue-eyes player. A REAL Blue-eyes player as much see them as their own cards as they do an engine for other plays. My BE deck may run Chaos dragons, but I also use a variety of synchro and Exceed cards so i can call up titanic galaxy or Cipher or numeron dragon if I need to. If the guy had nothing else to work with? Fine. But read the damn card effect.

Exactly. I play the same synchro and xyz cards you mentioned and often crush meta decks with it. The player shown misplayed twice with maxx c and his trap card, especially with maxx c he could've raised his chances for a good combo next turn. A more experienced blue eyes player wouldn't make such obvious mistakes

No you are wrong. It cannot be targeted or destroyed only. Borrelsword Dragons second effect(Aka one when it is attacking) do not target.

I feel like people mix different kinds of blue eyes players, this is a ritual blue eyes player, different blue eyes styles are different things. Dont get me wrong, i play xyz blue eyes, and its unga-bunga as fuck, but i feel like turn 1 photon lord, draglubion, and hope harbinger pass is much better than chaos maxx pass, though it is weaker to Maxx c and Nib.

@@nguyentuannghia9306 depends of the opening hand, i do still have outs to eldlitch in the form of blue eyes spirit and called by, and sky strikers sometimes have a hard time with harbinger, CyDra Infinity, and beatsticks. The deck I lose to the most often ( not including going second against Herald or Rhongo) is Tribri and most of its varients. Funny story, I don't get niberu'd often, might just be chance or coincidence or the fact that maxx c is better. But the one time I remember getting nibb'ed recently by a striker player, and a fun fact about blue eyes and most level/rank 8 dragons, is they have a ton of attack. So I got nibb'ed, but the nib token was a 12k beater, so i just swung with it and won lol.

I run both in the same blue eyes deck. You can search chaos form and max off of just dragon shrine alone for your 2nd turn. And with something like nebula dragon in hand you can go into your xyz hope dragon turn 1 for some negate magic.

Personally, I like blue eyes. casual decks are a lot more fun to use because meta and FTK an OTK decks just kill the fun. I'm a noob I prefer turns that take at least 1 or 2 minutes long compared to 30 minutes plus for 1 turn mainly the reason i quit playing yugioh an just collect the cards.

Truthfully I wouldn't mind seeing them do a nonranked duel mode, I'm just saying it's fine to be competitive but as someone who is really only playing this for nostalgia, I do get very tired of seeing the same 6 meta archetypes over 18 duels, I love when I can just sit back and just summon big monsters, like I ended up getting dark magician and Gaia packs so you can already tell I messed up lol but I got to gold rank thinking I had something going, then bam eldlich, cyber dragon, tribriggade, relinquish/restrict, thunder dragon. I ended up dismantling and copy pasting a cyber dragon omni negate deck just so I could potentially win a match now.

I used Mayakashi Mayhem the other day to just outright send Chaos MAX to the graveyard. It was so satisfying. I used to play Blue-Eyes myself, but the deck is way too popular and way too many braindead idiots run it. I stopped playing it because I became disgusted with them. Anytime I'm online and against a Blue-Eyes deck, I have no fear. Sometimes I lose because of an unfortunate hand. Maybe I have an advantage because I *know* how Blue-Eyes decks run from using one myself for so long, but they just never worry me, even with Chaos MAX on the field.
