It's the farewell show for their guitar player. Though X-Hail will be missed, I genuinely hope that Blue Felix carries on for many years to come.

On a whim, I checked these guys out last Saturday night in Omaha and I was completely blown away. This coming from a guy that has been going to metal shows for 30+ years. They have an absolute amazing sound live. Don't be intimidated by how bad a** they are. After the gig they hung out, took pics, and met everyone. The singer (Toxsick Tripp) is one of the most genuine, humbled rockers I've ever met, but you would never have guessed it from this video. This is a marquee type of band playing on a club circuit. They should be playing arenas. Whatever you are doing the night they roll into town, cancel your plans, and go check them out. (put your middle finger up on this post so it bumps up in the feed.)

I'm in this video (that's me on the boat, waving the flag)... fun fact, there was only maybe 15 people outside of the band in this. They kept moving us around the area they created and made it look like there's a bunch of us. It wasn't planned the best and we kind of had to drop whatever we had going on last minute if we wanted to be there. I almost got fired from the job I had at the time. They did a great job making it look like way more people than we had that day. They really are a bunch of great guys off stage, too.

I will always love Blue Felix. My band toured with them and they are SO NICE, and their music is really great. I love the slight resemblance to Gwar (not this song). And I love their look.
