The ruling of kiriha & nene is that you can choose to use 0 or 1 from your trash and/or under a tamer, so you can use 1 from your hand and 1 from your trash/under a tamer. If you have 2 in play you can suspend both to use 2 card from trash/ under a tamer

My level 5s looked the exact same as yours except I only ran 3x Greymon... However if you exckude Decker (as I have also done), most of your draw power is coming from Blue Flare filters and I found myself bottom decking the Greymons more often than I was drawing into them. I noticed that at a 3 of, I was nearly never putting Security Attack 2 on the board. I'm going to cut the Dracomon and put a 4th red Grey in. It just makes good sense when you think about how little digivolving you're doing on top of the constant filters bottom decking cards that aren't Blue Flare. Makes me want to put in 2x Omnimon now instead of the 1x I use. Yeah Im still playing Blue Flare in BT15...

I'm actually really considering putting Decker back in for my Regional build. Didn't play it two weekends ago and saw 0 floodgates all day. Talked to the winner of the 150 person event in Mexico and he said the exact same thing. Seems like floodgates are only really a Belphe/Red Hybrid thing right now, and both are decks you can absolutely beat without cyberlauncher. It's hard to make that switch tho, because it just takes one match with a greymon deck running solarmon to regret that decision. Especially if your dedicated removal is a 15 cost body that relies on xros reduction. Will have to look at some more results in depth before I fully commit to switching over, but even then finding the space for 2 more cards in the deck feels really difficult.

This guy knows his stuff on Blue Flare. Thanks for sharing. Before competitive season is over too? Dang wowo. I opt for a 4-2 split on the Maibirdramons, 4 of the jamming. As the meta progresses, the community learns how to counterplay Blue Flare and never plays 2 cards on field, reducing it's strength in the meta. While it's nice to return Metalgreymon to hand with it's secondary effect, the Greymon does the same thing. Of course, we still keep 2 because we always want to keep the threat of stunning. The 1 ex4 greymon is something I've always pushed for, even though a lot of people disagree haha. It's such a nice consistency boost, because you can use it to trash Starter deck greymons, which Kiriha and Nene's can pick up. And also, when they opponent only has 1 card on field, you prefer using this card over the unsuspending greymon, because you get to draw at least. I've seen people top competitive events with 3 starter deck greymons. And I wonder how this works, wouldn't you want to maximize your most aggressive piece in the deck by running 4? It's true, but the key here is that you only need to find 1. So you can afford dropping it to 3. Most traditional decks create two evolution stacks before winning. This means that they go through 2 level 5's, which is why many decks run level 5's at 4 of the best one. This is contrast Blue flare, where you can constantly recycle the source, therefore you can afford dropping to 3 Starter Greymons. Anyway, thanks to coming to my ted talk.

I love having X7 Superior Mode in my blue flare. It's a great tech against any single stack deck to set them back.

I got 4 st1 greymon and 4 jamming mailbird. Those 2 are too strong to be at 2 or 3 for my play style
