Thanks for showing that it took you eight attempts. I’m predicting it will take me eight years.

Probably the hardest shot on the table that one! Thanks a lot for watching 😊

BartonSnooker thank you for your great content, recently made a half century which I simply never dreamed of doing until I started watching your videos and following your advice.

@@29memyselfandi fantastic! Well done and it's great to help 👍

I thought when you got it twice in a row, you were just going to keep potting it continuously! Holy c**p dude 😂

impressive - well done...amateurs should feel a bit better about ourselves after watching this video. This is an extremely difficult shot and it is a difficult challenge for professional players. I think a good lesson for amateurs would be to talk about how unreasonably high expectations effect our playing and shot making and how it effectively neutralizes the pleasure and joy we want to derive from playing snooker - or any other recreational activity for that matter.

Thanks for taking on my challenge. Very good effort, this is very very hard. At the start i thought you were going to just keep flowting them in 😳

When i watched the 1 to 10 video, i was wondering how many attempts it took you for this, i estimated at least 20, and probably more, to do it in under 4 minutes with just 8 attempts was fantastic, well done.

I will stick to from the bulk line, that's hard enough.

Definitely helps to shoot from the baulk line. Zhao Xintong potted 42 balls on the blue spot but from the baulk line not the jaws: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZbRfZKvZal2jJY. I probably couldn't do this on a pool table!

Can you make a video of how to stand behind line of aim ,as in the foot placement, and how to walk into the shot so that the head and cue fall exactly on line of aim ?

Really really hard not only to keep potting the red but very hard to initially line the shot up straight so you could be cueing straight and the white wouldn'tfollow the red . I wouldn't worry about the white too much if you potted 10 reds on the trot!!! I try it down the club and it's so so hard I'm going out to my 6 foot in the garden to have a go now..... My table has more levels than the Bull Ring so I'm not holding out much hope.......

It is really tough .. I’ve tried so many times...sometimes it took hours 😂🤣
@ryanguppy77854 жыл бұрын
I take it you’ve seen players play with their chin slightly to the side of the cue right? Is it worth changing so the jaw is properly on the cue? Would it make a significant difference?
@kfmctell4 жыл бұрын
Great to see this- did you make deliberate adjustments for each shot, or continue with same technique until you potted both balls? Thanks
@BartonSnooker4 жыл бұрын
Same technique on each shot. Just did everything exactly the same each time. I always try to be as consistent as possible. Stand behind the shot to see the line, walk in, check I'm striking the cue ball where I want, check I'm online and I'm going to hit the red where I want. Smooth long backswing, keep still, and smooth acceleration and delivery 👍

Steve why don't you try going on the tour. Surely you're much better than some of the players in the top 50!
@BartonSnooker4 жыл бұрын
Any player in the top 100 players in the world can all make centuries easily in practice. Whenever you watch those players you're watching them under pressure playing on the TV where they are not used to the speed of the table and the cameras.

@@BartonSnooker on another note, been binging on your videos and made my highest break today, 40. Thanks so much. I did make a 52 in 2001, but then gave up the game shortly after, and took it up again in early 2020. Thanks so much. Will keep practicing

It's so hard to even line up/cue straight when so close to the edge of the table too isn't it?

@@BartonSnooker Might have to, fortunately we have a table so it's not so bad. I'm happy if I get the white to follow the object ball in the pocket from middle pocket to pink spot.

I completed all the short stuff this morning but have to wait till I get to a club to play the long shots.
@BartonSnooker4 жыл бұрын
Great stuff. I'd be looking the get to do level 6 & 7 around 50% of the time. I think that's a good target. I think you'll manage to pot the ball more often than 50%, but getting the white in as well - 50% success is a good target.
