My Grandmother showed me this and told me about the legend of Elvis when I was a kid. The kings voice reached far beyond the borders of the United States. This movie was a hit in the island of Tonga and when news reached that the king had passed away, the entire island went into mourning for weeks in memory of the late legend. My grandmother among them. She almost named my father after him. I’ve been a fan of Elvis Presley for the past 10 years ever sense I was 12 years old and made in the top 0.1% of his fans on Spotify. Szilvia Borsos Don't know where you got that bit of MIS information from, but this movie WAS made in Hawaii in late March through to early May, 1961. ( mostly Kauai ) and the interior shots were done in the Paramount studios in Hollywood as you mentioned.
