Heading up there in September from South Florida. Currently, my bike has Bontrager XR3 Team Issue 29s. I am thinking of going back to the original XR4's. Any advice? Thanks.

Apologies for the late reply here! What did you end up riding? I would have said the XR3's might have been a little troublesome in some areas, but you could have gotten away with using them, XR4's would have probably been the move for this area with a lot of roots and rocks.
