I’d recommend you get several heavyweights and reprogram the air scale. Also, if you get a load closer to 80,000# I’d definitely reprogram since it’ll be more accurate. The more times you reprogram the closer to correct you’ll be. I’ve had the air scale for a year now and it’s worth it. Keep a spare set of batteries with you. Cold weather will drop their performance quickly. Also, my trailer sensor takes longer to connect to the app. I typically take my phone with me when I close the trailer doors so the sensor can connect to my phone and give a reading.

How long do the batteries usually last? i currently have appweigh and it has trouble connecting sometimes and the batteries lasts about 3 days

For a spread axle, do I have to buy two for the trailer? How often do you have to recalibrate?

Been watching you for a few months. Used to truck from Seattle to Cali, first stop, the Flying J in Corning. Did alot of trucking out of the Bay area for years. Thanks for showing the public how hard we work, the sacrifices that we make, and how the world treats us.

I got hit in Arkansas with a load over by 500 lbs and had to hire a forklift and all kind of stuff along with a 10 hr shut down in the coop, that was the last time I stopped at any scale, cheaper to run em

Damn they need more promotion seems real cool I have a digital gauge that has all 3 weights on one but there’s a lot of wiring and plumbing… also the gauge doesn’t match my stock gauges 😂 super cool

I don't wanna sound crazy here brother but hope your duel tanks were full for your light load first weigh in works better and recalibrate it a couple more times with a heavier loads

They're handy for sure...most places will make you go get a scale ticket even if you know it's out of wack. But it's good to prevent any undo attention at the weigh station. Get the cat scale app...that's handy too.

Trailer air tanks have a drain valve. It's a good idea to drain them now and again. Especially in the colder months. Cool tech . Work safe

Man, this looks way too complicated and risky as hell. I ain't doing all of that just to make sure I have the proper weight on my axles. That's crazy. And I have to cut my airlines too. Nope, I'm good. I have the CAT scale app on my phone I will just scale my loads like usual. I'm good. Lol 😂.

I got appwieght, probably the same company just changed their Name. It's garbage and will get you in trouble. You have to calibrate it to many times and it still goes off.

I believe when your on the scale you should have your tractor and trailer charged with air . Then shut your truck off in gear so your air bags are completly level and not affected by a parking brake.

Please some one explain, will the valve send the correct PSI to the air bag to have the weight moved to either back or forward ?
@Velox18 Жыл бұрын
The movement of wait happens through sliding axles and fifth wheel. The air scale simply measures the air pressure in your air bags to give you a fairly accurate scale weight.
