I think it’s simple, two things have been clear to start, Bo & Vlad aren’t hitting well with the switch in the order and that they’re both hitting the same way and teams have capitalized against these 2 in order for quite some time so 1. Split them up in the order, and revert to the area where Bo is back above Vlad in the order, personally I would bat Vlad in the 5 hole not 4 any longer, Bo I’d put back where he was best at the 2 spot, you don’t necessarily have the 3/4 guys to compensate but you have some guys that have hit well to start, with either you ideally want guys on base for the first pitch issues to give the other pitcher more to think about and they need to focus on getting the ball up because it goes well when they do they can’t seem to handle the off speed and the inside ball so that’s something your improving outside of game sense but the order changes I’d find a new guy at 1 even though it’s Springers “bread + butter” give Springer the chance to hit 3 or move him down to the 6 spot, Varsho deserves to be in the meat of the lineup the way the bat has been going so I’d go something like this 1. Clement 2. Bichette 3. Varsho/Turner 4. Turner/Varsho/Springer 5. Vlad 6. Whichever Catcher you play 7. Springer/other

hi guys my opinion on the batting lineup would be varsho leading off because when was the last time you had a hitter who hits left handed can bunt and run and hit for power then bo 2nd springer third as is a double hitter turner 4th vlady 5th as i have been saying take the pressure of him ok the rest of the lineup 6th barber 7th schiner 8th clement 9th neiamier ps i am not a great speller but tell me what you think biggio would be dh with idf and volgo would go to buffalo to learn to hit

Sadly nothing is going to change until Schneider is fired. I would have easily benched vladdy after that 0-5 game with the game costing error

It's not Schneider that is the problem it is the hitting coaches and Don Mattingly get rid of them now

It’s a simple solution: take Vlad and Bo to batting practice, and have them hit everything in the air. All they do is pound the ball into the ground. It’s been Vlad’s kryptonite since his breakout season, and Bo seems to have started off this season doing the same damn thing.
