Nice job! The only suggestions I would make us to make sure your pointer shows up well. A couple of times I had to really search for the area you were poining to on the screen. But that's an easy gix. Your instructions were clear and easy to understand. Thanks a bunch!

I've been listening to the scriptures on the audio and now I cant go to the main menu tool bar so I can go to the interlinier or anything else for that matter. Thank you for the Blue Letter Bibe. I first installed it on my phone and really enjoy it. Then I got an android tablet to take to Church and it won't make a backup / restore file on my android tablet it says to contact the developer for this problem. I want to be able to take my back up from my phone and restore it in my tablet. Can you please help me?

Hi Michael, thank you for your question. I do not have a tablet, but I tried this with another phone and here is what I found. Firstly, I think the BLB app. creators are going to provide a SYNC option sometime in the future. Until then, I am sorry to say the Backup/Restore option does NOT really do what we need it to do as far I found in my test of this feature. Most importantly, in my test of the Backup/Restore, I was unable to restore both my bookmarks (which honestly is the most important thing) nor my hightlights. Having said that, here are the instructions BLB provides: If you tap the Blue Letter Bible icon on the left to go to the various options, then at the bottom select "Backup/Restore". There are instructions on that Backup/Restore screen as to how to create a backup, which folder it is saved in, and how to send (via text or email) the BLB backup file to yourself or others so it can be Restored and used on another device. TO BACKUP: From the Backup/Restore screen, tap the + Create New Backup. TO RESTORE (not really a restore as it is a replace option): You must transfer the backed up BLB file to the (Internal Storage/Downloads/BLB_Backups) folder, the same as the BLB app on your new/other device. Sorry these are not the results I had hoped to share. God bless you, Janine

Thank you for this instruction. I have never used the BLB before, but I will now. I do have one correction, though: you pronounced "impious" as imp - ee-us. The correct pronunciation is im (like immoral, immodest) - pie - us.

I have been looking for a comprehensive bible app like this. I have been using mysword and esword and they are also great bibles, but they don't have the morning devotion from Bob (Day by Day). This BLB is from Bob and I am surprised it does not have the devotion as well. Please, can it be added to this wonderful bible app. Thank you.

@@ogezie Hello, so glad you found the BLB app. The Blue Letter Bible has a desktop version, just go to their website: www.blueletterbible.org/devotionals/index.cfm If you click on MENU at the top right, you’ll see an option for Devotionals. Even though they don’t show Bob Day, there are others that are very encouraging with God’s Promises and daily readings. God bless you as you study His word and seek to know our Lord more each day. Hi Rick, the red letter option is under settings. The dramatized version should show up as an option when you yahoo the audio speaker at the bottom left side of your Bible scriptures screen

Thank you for your question. I have made several BLB videos discussing a wide variety of features. It should be in one of the other videos on this Audio Bible with Scriptures and Music KZbin channel. However, I will share that most features can be found under settings. As for the dramatized version of the audio, I also wish they had more voices and reading options. I usually read from my iPad with a split screen, having the BLB on one side and the reading by Bible Gateway audio Bible on the other. I’m sorry I cannot be of more help regarding the dramatized reading options. God bless you.

Just to ask, interlinear on my phone how do I set the display to REVERSE instead of FORWARD view permanently?

Hi Adrian, that is a great question. I looked at that and since there is not a way to “sign in” on the phone app, you will have to tap REV each time. I am sorry about that, it would be an excellent feature for it to stay where you last set it. In the computer desktop version, it may keep your option because it has a sign in feature for your preferences. God bless you as you continue studying God’s living word.

That only works if you use a word or group of words that are together in the Bible and have plenty of time to study, I need to be able to to take a question and get an answer. We don’t all have hours per day to do Bible study

How do you create a highlight

Hi Angel, thanks for your question. Tap on a verse, when the menu comes up to the left, go down to highlights. To create a new highlight, just scroll to the very bottom and you will see an option "+ Create New Highlight". Tap it, then select your color, but be sure to give your new highlight a name. You can create the highlight color options you like. Then, on a desired scripture, tap on it, then scroll down to the highlights and choose the one you want. Let me know if you need more help on this. 😊
